ATV drivers must be 16 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license
No flip flops, sandals, or open-toed shoes
Not recommended for travellers with back problems
Travellers should have a moderate physical fitness level
Unlicensed participants and children under 16 must ride as passengers

The number of ATV passengers in your group may not outnumber the ATV drivers

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

A fun time for our group of 12

Our party of 12 had a great time riding the ATVs and visiting Jaco Waterfall. We had a group ages 13 to 70. We were accommodated for the size and driving level. The route wasn't as challenging for those in our group more proficient in ATV but overall the level was good for everyone. The sights were beautiful. The overlook was gorgeous. The waterfall was fun. Overall it was a fun adventure and time for our family group. And our two guides were great.

An absolute must do! The entire experience was perfection beginning to end. Juan was incredible as a tour guide and let us have some real fun, take photos at amazing scenic sights, took us to the waterfall. Vroom Vroom, if you don’t book this tour you will be missing out.

Jordin was an excellent tour guide. He was very friendly and he knew a lot about the trail and the forest and he stopped at the waterfall which was very refreshing. And we all enjoyed the ride through the rain. There was something therapeutic about it and I really enjoyed myself.

Mostly great, but two hiccups

Our experience was (mostly) great, as was our guide, Juan. I have to take a star away for two reasons. First, the description stated that we would visit two waterfalls, and the second one has a 15 foot jump. My son was really looking forward to it. We went to the first waterfall, and that was fun. Then we rode around some more and returned to the departure point. Nothing mentioned about the second waterfall. I didn’t ask what happened to it because at that point, what’s the difference? Second, Juan promised us that he would be using a GoPro camera to record key points of the tour and we did see him recording. The catch? That footage is $49, and that wasn’t disclosed ahead of time. If we had known that we would have had our kids record the ride from the back seats of the ATVs. I’d still recommend going, but confirm ahead of time what the stopping points will be.

This was an absolutely amazing experience! My husband and I booked the 3 hour ATV/Waterfall tour for our 8th year anniversary and first trip to costa rica. We drove an 1 and 1/2 hours from Atenas and it was worth every minute and penny! The staff made it very easy and were super friendly! We made friends with an awesome group of people who were also visiting. This experience is well worth it!

Our guide Jorge was great. He ensured our safety and took pictures for us (my friend and I were the only two during our time slot). First you are picked up from your hotel then taken to the central office for quick safety video. You first practice navigating ATV then once you’re comfortable you’re off on the adventure. Warning parts of the trail are muddy so def be prepared to get dirty. The trail was beautiful just know that going down some aspects of the trail can be a bit nerve wrecking. Waterfall was beautiful and water was cold - def a good photo op. Overall a wonderful way to spend 3 hours.

I had never used an ATV, the quad was easy to use and very well kept. Our tour guide Yordan was amazing! He was guiding us safely up the mountain. He was also talking with us which made it seem like a familiar environment and takes away the nervousness if you have any. The day we went was a little rainy but that just made it more fun. The views at the very top were beautiful. It was an overall great experience I really enjoyed it.

We took the 3 hour ATV Waterfall Adventure and cant saw enough about how much fun it was. I was a little apprehensive to participate as I am closer to 70 years old than 60, but our guide Jordan put me at ease. Jordan was wonderful, not only did we have a fun ride but he took the time to show us some amazing insects along the way and we stopped at the waterfall for a quick swim which was so welcome in this heat. I would highly recommend this tour company and our guide Jordan.
