What To Expect

Begin your adventure exploring the west coast of Jamaica with pickup at your Montego Bay accommodation.

Your guide will match you with a well-trained horse, and you'll ride along the beach and into the warm, Caribbean Sea. Ride bareback as your horse swims; no riding experience is necessary.

On foot, take a rugged trail up to Reading Heights for panoramic views over the surrounding landscape. Snap some photos and take it all in before heading to the Great River for a river tubing experience. Float peacefully through the calm parts and get a thrill as you pass over small rapids.

Refuel with a traditional Jamaican lunch at the Jungle Outpost before continuing your adventures with some rappelling and ziplining. With a provided helmet and safety harness, clip in and zoom through the forest canopy, ending up on the Inter-Parish Express, a 1,065-foot (324-meter) traverse cable.

End your tour with drop-off at your Montego Bay accommodations.

This excursion was phenomenal! We had a lot more fun than we thought we would, even in the pouring rain! We didn't understand that we would be leaving the Ocean Outpost park for the zipline and tubing, although I'm sure it was probably in the description. 1) We were trying to stick to activities in Negril, because we didn't want to waste time on the road. You HAVE to get out of Negril for these types of activities. 2) Be sure to pack patience. I tried to mentally prepare myself for "island time", but found myself slightly annoyed at the lengthy check-in process. That is my only "complaint". 3) We did the horse back riding 1st. They DO check your weight, so if you don't meet the weight limit for a specific activity, rebook before you get there. The riding was beginniner-friendly and it was neat to take the horses into the ocean. Johnny and the rest of the tour guides were great! 4) The ride for the tubing and ziplining was about 45 mins away, but well worth it. 5) Bring an extra change of clothes, especially if you're going during the rainy season like us. It started raining and we were COMPLETELY soaked. 6) Be prepared to hike for the zipline, and make sure you have water shoes (with a hard bottom). Also, if the climb may be a little challenging for you, stay to the back of the group. 7) Diablo, Meeka, Drayon and the other zip line guides were awesome!! 8) The tubing in the river was beautiful, although we were getting rained on for most of the 5 mile ride. Again, beginner-friendly. The guides literally paddled us down the river. So much fun! We would definitely book this one again!

It was a fun experience. The only part I didn’t like is the zip lining. While doing the zipline it’s like your hiking to go to the next line. It was so tiring and it made me what to give up. The mosquitoes out there is crazy. Please bring insect repellent spray. The lunch they serve was 6/10. The rice n peas was so hard, jerk chicken wasn’t good. The tubing was the best part, so relaxing, definitely recommend that part.

Waited over 45 minutes for our tour bus, tried contacting every number provided on the website and got no answer. Called customer service, very rude, she didn’t help up at all. After all this we found out it was canceled due to weather. They are very unorganized. I do not recommend.

Complete Disappointment

It all began with the booking. I entered that I would be staying in Lucea Perish and the system sent me to a pick up location 45 min away when the actual attraction was less than 6 minutes from me (I didn’t find out until it was too late). We paid $30 per person (5 people…$150 for absolutely nothing!!!) to be driven to a location almost an hour away to have to be driven back to where we started. That’s what should have happened, however when we got to the pick up location at 6:40am (that was the pick up time on the reservation), our excursion driver was not there and the people at the location had no idea what we were talking about. So we left. We must have called every number on the site at least 20 times and no one ever answered. We got lucky after about an hour of trying and we got a representative that was very rude and had a nasty attitude telling us that the driver was late due to weather (it was sprinkling). The driver came to us (we were down the street). He was apologetic, told us to hold on as he was going to call someone, he walked away, got into the bus, and drove away without saying a word to us. We followed him in our driver’s car and he finally stopped. He then said the excursion was cancelled due to weather (again…it was sprinkling). We called customer service AGAIN…waited about 20 minutes on hold (who knows how much the phone calls will cost because we were making international calls on our American cell phones) and they said it wasn’t cancelled, only delayed. We spoke to the excursion driver again and then he confirmed that it was indeed cancelled. Everyone got refunded, but not only was our whole day ruined, but we lost a bunch of money between the drive and the calls. I would never recommend such an unorganized company. We should be compensated for our wasted time driving back and forth and waiting for a driver, as well as for our financial losses.

I have to say this in the beginning, BRING BUG SPRAY Starting from the end of our trip to the beginning. If you book this tour the last thing you will do is river tubing. That was super relaxing & NOT high speed at all. The Zip lines were fun. We experienced a total of 6 this is where YOU WILL NEED BUG SPRAY. Pro Tip: Purchase the local repellent from a pharamacy or grocery store. The mosquitos in Jamaica are not like US mosquitos. Leave the “off” at home & please don’t use the natural Tea Tree Oil trust me them mosquitos still gon bite. Food: 5/5 stars. You get Jerk Chicken, Rice & Peas, and some type of bread it reminds me of festival. Plus you get a juice. Pictures & Pool: 5/5 the DJ & MC were great. Take your pictures as soon as you get there DONT WAIT. There are day bed and swings all over. Horseback: The horses are cute (some have a mind if their own). The horseback in the sea was extremely short but i still got phenomenal photos and would do again. Pro Tip: You can add additional activities to your excursion at the Ocean Outpost

Loved the Zipline and horseback riding, my guides were Cecil and Paul for horseback riding and they were very friendly and would point out tons of stuff along the trail and the ocean ride was exhilarating. The Zipline crew was John, Nelson and O'Neil, they kept things lite hearted and fun and I always felt safe with them. So much fun.

I'll start with the good. The ziplining was awesome. Everyone had a blast; minus 2 very inappropriate comments from the staff. Tubing was fun, relaxing, those staff were friendly and entertaining. The horseback riding was a bust though. You walk the horse down a short dirt road loop. Then you get off the horses, wait, and get on a different horse for a VERY short little loop in the water; not worth the cost for that one.

Pros- very organized event . Omg beautiful meetup site ! Ocean pool,bar , gazebo Horseback riding in the ocean a must ! Zip lining so much fun , floating down river beautiful experience. Tour guides have great energy and we’re hilarious! Food ok . Cons- 30 min late for pickup . Very hott day , they do NOT provide water . Lunch was dry chicken and dry rice . They give u one small cup of punch . NO water No ATM so bring cash for tips . Groups were toooo large we had 30 in our group . Makes each event extremely lengthy having to wait for people to get tied up. Harness, helmet ecttt. During zip line in jungle omggggg mosquitos were horrible.. almost made experience not enjoyable because you were CONSTANTLY getting eaten ! Everyone was scratching and frustrated. Staff has no bug spray so bring your own .. very hott humid and again DID not provide water 😡 For the amount you pay $300 - 2 adults can at least provide water ??

Really enjoyed myself. Me and my sister came from Philly. All the tour guides were very helpful and funny while at it. It was definitely a vibe. A whole day full of activities. Went out at about 8 am and got back to my hotel at about 4pm, and I can’t complain.

The zip lining was my favorite part. The tour guides were fun and made sure that safety was a priority. BTW, you will earn your zip lining experience. When hiking through the rainforest make sure you have comfortable walking shoes and appropriate attire. Horseback riding was cool. River tubing was fun and I enjoyed the swing at the end. The infinity pool and bar at outpost park was great.

Fantastic day ! And very well organised. We started with the horse ride to get us used to being on a horse and followed a trail through an old plantation then swapped horses for the ride in the sea which was a great experience. The handlers made sure we were safe and kept close by. We were transported to the Zipline trail, high in the forest with a number of lines and again, safe practice was explained before and during the experience. After we were guided down river on river tubes, made tricky as it absolutely poured with rain!! And then a hilarious ride by truck back to base. The guides were excellent and fun. I would do this again in a heartbeat. The rain spoiled it a bit but that was out of anybodies control.

First, the waiting in the beginning was super frustrating and disorganized but once it stated the fun began! When it came to all of the service workers from the zip 90 experience to the horseback riding to the river rafting everything was top notch in customer service and the guys went above and beyond to make sure that we all had a great time. Even the chef who provided lunch was excellent. This turned out to be our best excursion during our trip and restored our love for Jamaica. Excellent! I highly recommend.
