We started off a bit rocky having landed late with no phone number to contact the shuttle company. She didn’t have ours either. Finally managed to get in touch with the main office and our driver Mei proved to be amazing. She provided us with information and stories about the island both on arrival and on return to the airport.

Delayed pick up by the shuttle by 45 min after landing Had to make two international calls to the contact number (each time listening to 10 min recording) before an agent answered. When shuttle arrived and we expressed annoyance at long wait (told 12 min but actually 40 min) the driver threatened that he will not pick us up and go without us as we were the only passengers waiting. Seemed the driver was running back and forth and do surely many customers were also delayed as us. Not recommend this service. Cancelled the return journey to airport Ashe to u reliable service ice to avoid missing an international flight.

We were lucky to be alone in our shuttle. But the quality of the shuttle vehicle itself is not what was pictured. It was a dirty old Mercedes with leaky roof. And our driver was pleasant enough, but in some ways was inappropriate in her conversation with us.

I arranged a shuttle from Lihue airport. While I was waiting for my shuttle to arrive two different shuttle drivers were friendly and helpful in getting me to where I was supposed to be. One even called in to inform my driver I was waiting. My driver for the ride was also extraordinarily friendly and efficiently got me to my destination. The service was outstanding! I highly recommend Viator!
