Designed especially for those with limited time in La Fortuna, this combo tour lets you choose your own adventures for a jam-packed day in one of Costa Rica's most visited areas. Guided transport from La Fortuna hotels is included with all options.

Get a bird’s-eye view of the rain forest canopy at Arenal Hanging Bridges, featuring a 2-mile (3-km) loop through the treetops made up of 15 suspended walkways. Back on the forest floor, admire the tropical cascade of La Fortuna Waterfall, which pours down from a height of 230 feet (70 meters). Take a refreshing swim at the base pools, or simply soak up the surrounding beauty and snap some photos.

Dare to get close to Arenal’s most famous — and infamous — feature with a hike along the 2.2-mile (3.6-km) Lava Slides trail at Arenal Volcano National Park. Admire stunning views of the active peak, Arenal Lake, and areas damaged by previous eruptions, all while keeping a safe distance. In the evening, relax after all your adventures with a soak in the steaming pools at once of Arenal’s luxurious volcanic hot springs.

Great way to see La Fortuna on a compressed schedule. Minor and Luis were AMAZING tour guides, super knowledgeable about everything we saw. Luis even stayed with my aunt who had knee trouble and walked with her up and down the stairs to the waterfall, so sweet. Lunch was also really good, with a great view of the volcano!!

Combo Tour of the Hanging Bridges and Waterfall

We love the combo tour because we could pick which activities we wanted to do,. A lot of tours offer the hanging bridges, waterfall and the volcano hike. But we are older adults and the volcano hike would have been too much for us. So being able to pick which things we wanted to do was very helpful. It was a wonderful experience and Victor our guide was excellent. Also recommend using a guide. You most likely would not see any animals without them. I have a pretty good set of binoculars and even with those I couldn't find animals unless it was pointed out by the guide.

This was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I want to shout out our guide Antonio! He was absolutely amazing for the tour. Extremely knowledgeable about not only the history of La Fortuna and it’s natural surroundings but is an overall great to it guide. It was a long day but he took care of me and my s.o. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent time. Our guide, Gabriel, was very knowledgeable and you could tell enjoyed what he was doing. Lunch was better than expected! I would recommend.

We were glad we went on this tour. We got the history and to see the sights but might be a little pricy for what it is. Since we were staying near the volcano we wanted to learn about it but google would have done just as good. You must see la fortuna waterfall for sure as it is beautiful!!

We did the Best of Fortuna tour. Guide was terrific and pointed out a great deal of wildlife to us that we would never have seen. Hanging bridges were magnificent. The waterfall was beautiful. The final part, the hot springs were a bit to commercial and touristy for us. Lunch was fine but dinner was very disappointing buffet was mediocre at best. All in all in was a long but terrific day. If we were to do it again we would skip the hot springs, though there were lots of people there having a good time.

Excelente tour y excelente trabajo de nuestra guía Elena y de nuestro chofer Pedro. Visitamos los puentes colgantes donde vimos una gran variedad de vida salvaje, a continuación fuimos a la cascada La Fortuna y finalmente visitamos el Parque Nacional Volcán Arenal. El almuerzo de cocina costarricense fue también muy bueno. La recogida en el hotel fue puntual.
