Overview

Tamara was a fabulous cooking instructor. We had the whole experience to ourselves and the venue was HUGE and incredible which we weren’t expecting for this very reasonable price. Food was delicious, will definitely be using the recipe at home. Tamara was friendly and so fun and knowledgeable. Dancing was fun after dinner, didn’t need any foundational knowledge. 100% recommend this intimate experience to anyone visiting the La fortuna area!

This was my favorite activity we did in La Fortuna, and we did a lot!!! Cooking/cocktail class was hands on and we loved learning all about the food and culture. We will definitely be making the recipe at home. We are not dancers by any means but we had a great group for the salsa dancing class, and the liquid courage made it even better!

This was a great experience. The instructor was pleasant & very knowledgeable. The other guests were so awesome to share the cooking experience and salsa dancing as well. The salsa dancing instructor was so patient, as older students we appreciated it so much.

Rosa was a wonderful instructor. Advised us on how to prepare a traditional Costa Rican meal. Even started off with a traditional cocktail. The food was delicious! Then drove a short distance to a local dance studio for lessons. A culturally rich experience. Pura vida!

our guide was the most kind and helpful person in the world we began by cooking a traditional costa rican meal by scratch and it was legit omne of the best tuings ive tasted in a while and then after we cooked we went and learned how to salsa and the guide was so patient and ready to teach us.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to find that we had a private lesson. The food was delicious but my favorite was the welcome drink, the Agua de sapo. Delicious! Rosa was so much fun and let us do just enough of the work, with no cleanup.
We learned some dance moves, but I think we need many more lessons before we can go dancing with Rosa!! 😊

This was a wonderful experience for our first night in La Fortuna. From making cocktails, to cooking, to learning how to salsa, meringue and bachata, my friends and I had a great time and would recommend this tour to anyone considering it!
