Hands down one of the best tours I've been on since coming to Costa Rica. Our guide Alberto was excellent and so passionate about the subject matter. I learned so much about the coffee and chocolate making process. The tour is very interactive as well, not to mention you get to try many great samples. It was an incredible learning experience and I walked away with a new appreciation for the culture. Huge thanks to all the staff and their incredible customer service. I felt like a member of the family.

This was a fascinating tour. We learned so much and have a whole new appreciation for coffee and chocolate. It was interesting to learn how it's made then get to taste the chocolate and coffee. Wasn't sure if our two boys (14 and 13) would enjoy it, but they had a great time. Highly recommend.

David was terrific. He is full of passion, information and excitement about chocolate, coffee and his country! David even made sure we saw a sloth and some dart frogs. We learned all about the process of growing, harvesting and creating both chocolate and coffee. The tastings were well done. Very much enjoyed this tour with David and would highly recommend visiting North Fields.

This was one of our favorite things on our trip! Alberto was SO knowledgable about the chocolate and coffee process and made the experience so fun. Our transportation was very timely from our resort and they had a good selection of coffee/chocolate to purchase at the end to support their farm. Highly recommend!

First hand account of small lot specialty coffee and chocolate production. Basics explained, myths busted. If you weren’t already a coffee snob or a chocolate connoisseur, this tour will definitely turn you into one. 70% mocha dark chocolate washed down with the dark roast coffee brew won my vote! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and congenial.

The whole experience was amazing. We got picked up and dropped at our hotel in Baldi Resort. Our tour guide was David and he did a really good job! During our tour, we got a lot of information about coffee, chocolate, the plantation, and Costa Rica in general. We also tried a lot of stuff while we were there, if you are doing a morning tour like we did- I recommend not getting full on your breakfast. We got to try dark chocolate, milk chocolate, coffee, alcohol, and sugar cane juice!- all of it was absolutely delicious. You get different spices and things like peanuts that you can add to you chocolate if you want. You also get a little bread thing with your coffee as well. David will go through the whole process of the coffee with you and you get the fresh coffee he made right in front of you!! In general, I recommend this tour!
