Wild, adventurous, fun, beautiful

Absolutely incredible way to experience rainforest in Costa Rica! Guides were very knowledgeable and fun. Sleeping and showering conditions were very primitive but it’s a great part of the experience. Incredible views too. Bring binoculars for animal siting!

Great experience of the jungle and living a simple life off grid.

We loved this trip. The hike was quite tough in places for me (I'm 58, used to hiking and relatively fit) but a walk in the park for my son who is 24 and very active. Carlos our guide was really friendly and mindful of my pace so made regular stops particularly after the steep climbs. We loved the jungle hut and overall had a very memorable experience.

a once and a life time experience, unsure if would do again. VIATOR did not provide very many details re: what to expect. i.e. there was a river crossing (could have brought water proof bags or different shoes for same). Not clear that there was going to be pick up of additional baggage and drop off in another town/receiving facility. wasn't clear that we were responsible for carrying some food. tour guide chris was okay, very friendly and informative guide but not very attentive to hikers pace
