Great Experience to go through the best spot in La Fortuna area!

I joined to the one day trip going around La Fortuna Waterfall, Arenal Volcano and hotsprings, it was really great that we could visit the main spots where to visit in this area in one day effectively with reasonable price. I strongly recommend you join this tour when you visit there at the first time:)

Everything about this trip was amazing. The staff was very personable and knowledgeable. They definitely made this adventure! From the start to the finish, they took care of everything and you could tell they tried hard to give us a memorable experience. They are very nice. We hiked to the waterfall which was amazing, stopped and looked for critters along the way. Looked at the beautiful scenery. The volcano hike was amaxing too. The lunch was delicious!

I loved the whole tour. Isaac and Carlos were great guides.

Amazing is an understatement! From the front desk to the guides to the whole experience was truly amazing. The hike up and down to the waterfall was hard but so worth it! The guides were super informative and so down to earth! Mother Nature stopped us from the hot spring but the guides were so accommodating for those that could make it the next day. This was worth the money and then some!

110% recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the Arenal Volcano and La Fortuna Waterfall. The guides were exceptional and very knowledgeable. The tour was well thought out and we stayed busy the whole day. Starting in the morning we drove to RedLava tours where the van picked us up. From there we went hiking and then to the waterfall. The guides even swam with us and we stayed there for about an hour. The hikes are pretty difficult for someone not used to hiking. We were with a group of about 25-30 but we’re split with two guides. Each spot you had about an hour to do whatever you wanted which I liked because it gave you plenty of time to take pictures and just enjoy the area. We went to a little village where we got to learn about their culture which was awesome. We ate lunch which was delicious. The Arenal Volcano was beautiful to see and we stayed for about an hour to take pictures. Then we hiked back to the office where we got picked up and went to the hot springs to end the night. They gave us a few drinks and we hungout and talked with the other people on the tour. Overall, this tour was more than I imagined and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I booked this tour for our family of 4 at the last minute for our final day in La Fortuna. This was an experience of a lifetime and a day I know we will never forget as long as we live. Our guides Isaac and Eric were phenomenal and had the entire group laughing all day, in spite of a torrential downpour that lasted the entire tour and clouded most of the views. Even with the worst imaginable weather, and getting soaked to the bone, I would do it again in a heartbeat. We got to swim near a gorgeous waterfall, hike through the rain in a rainforest, meet indigenous people who were so wonderful, hike up a volcano, and warm up in the hot springs at the end. It was the perfect end to our day. In Costa Rica, you can’t predict the weather - but just know that even if the weather is as bad as it can be - you’ll still have an adventure of a lifetime. Pura Vida!
