This was a really cool experience and beautiful tour! I didn’t realize you could actually walk through the hanging bridges on your own, if you (like me) don’t like to walk slow then going on your own may be the better option. Our guide frequently stopped to look for animals. He was so kind and it could not have been more clear that he absolutely loved his job and this area.

This was my favorite experience while in La Fortuna… not only was the park incredible and clearly well cared for, but our guide Gavriela made the experience even more amazing. I learned so much that I otherwise would not have without a wonderful guide. She truly understood nature and knew what she was doing. It was so fun and so beautiful! Highly highly highly recommend!

Definitely a must do with a guide! Indura was our guide, she knew so much about the flora and fauna. With listening, she found a lot of animals like toekans, frogs, monkeys, spiders, butterfly and some snakes! Without her we would not have found so many! Thank you Indura for this unforgettable experience!

This park is fantastic. The bridges are very safe and it’s an amazing perspective to walk above the tree canopy. The views and beautiful. Our guide Bernardo was excellent! He was very knowledgeable and patient, answering all my boys 100+ questions. He was able to spot and point out many animals that hikers with out a guide were walking right past. If you are in the Fortuna area this should be at the top of your list!

My family and I had an amazing time on this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area, and was great at pointing out wildlife along the path. We even got to see spider monkeys jumping around- so cool! The landscape was stunning, and the hanging bridges were so neat! I would definitely do this tour again!

Mistico Hanging Bridges are a must do activity. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and found animals that we would not have seen on the trail ourselves. The bridges were so fun to walk across, and the first one gave the most amazing views of the Arenal Volcano. Be sure to go early in the day before the rain hits for a clear view of the volcano.

Very good tour guide that made the tour fun and interesting we saw lots of birds, tree frog, basilisk, poison dart frogs, and a fer-de-lance snake. I enjoyed the guided tour and we did see some cool fauna thanks to our guide and his telescope. The views from the bridges were amazing but the trail can get busy as there were many other people.

Highly recommend. Don’t do this without a guide. You will miss out on all the wildlife. Saw hummingbird, monkeys, frogs and even a great insight into ants. Our guide Gabby was awesome.

Amazing time at the Mistico Bridges. Our guide, Luis, was awesome! Very knowledgeable, and an amazing ability to spot wildlife. He also took pictures through our phones and his telescopic lens. Fantastic views! Highly recommend! Also highly recommend asking for Luis to guide you!

Park needs to limit number of ppl allowed in park at once

This particular park is set up like Ikea: narrow one way. This would be totally fine except they allow way too many groups in at once. So we'd be in 30 person pile ups all trying to see the same tiny animal. Maybe first or last entry of the day are less crowded but I'd check how many tours they have going before is book this. They also let people go in on their own and they get all tangled up in the 10 person tour groups. They all seemed annoyed too. Our guide was knowledgeable but we didn't see as much as other places bc she had to spend so much making sure we weren't in the way of other groups or following the rules. If you still want to go after reading this, bring your own binoculars so you aren't sharing one scope with 10 other people. Often 2 to 5 of us wouldn't get to see animal bc it went away while we waited in line to look.
