Stress Free Transport

We booked transportation to the airport through Viator. This was a three hour drive from La Fortuna. The driver was on time, the van was comfortable and we got to the airport in the time specified (including a pit stop).

William drove us from SJO to La Fortuna and everything was perfect! The company responded quickly to my message on WhatsApp when I reached out to confirm and also reached out a day before to confirm with me. William was wonderful - he was kind, answered all our questions and showed us scenic stops along the way - not to mention he also was great with our broken Spanish and communicated with us through a translation app if we did not understand! The road is very winding and curvy down to La Fortuna with some rocky patches and William navigated them so well even through the intense patches of rain we had along the way. By the way, after a long flight, I could not have imagined driving it myself. All in all, it was very smooth and I highly recommend this transfer!

Our driver, though he spoke very little English, he used a translator on his phone and could not have been more accommodating. He made special stops for us along the way and pointed out various interesting facts along the way. He was a great introduction to Costa Rica.

We booked this transportation since it was reasonably priced compared to other transportation companies. We were staying at a hotel in Fortuna and need transportation to another hotel in San José. Booking online was a little confusing since it asked for flight information which didn't applied to my group so I had to put N/A for each section of the form. Our driver arrived on time and took us to our next hotel safely. He only spoke Spanish, but we managed to understand each with basic words. I liked how we didn't make any unnecessary stops like other transportation companies we used and we went directly to the hotel. Our driver did ask if we need to make any stops or bathroom breaks which is appreciated. The van was clean and very spacious. I felt a little guilty since it was a big van for a group of 3, but we did enjoy the space. Definitely a great company!
