Overview

Depending on the length of lines, you may or may not visit the inside of the Basilica of St.Peter.You will be offered a chance to walk around outside the Church and take pictures if the line is too long to attend.
If the total Group has less than 9 participants you will be offered a great English speaking driver for the day. He will comment and answer all your questions from inside the vehichle. He will not accompany you on foot to the sites .
This is a shared tour and you will be expected to maintain the pace of the group.If you have limited mobility we suggest to book a private tour for your best enjoyment.

Our guide was excellent. Saw so much of Rome. We would not be able to see on our own. Needed to have more time to experience Rome.

Tour guy was very knowledgeable but he was easily offended by people stupid questions. He waited till the last minute for a late couple. Regardless, we were able to cover some highlights of Rome. The tour was super fast so unfortunately we were not able to buy stuff.

The whole experience was great! Our tour guide Fabrizio, was excellent. He was informative and funny. We didn’t spend too much time in the suites which we liked. He was really accommodating to our needs. I would definitely recommend this tour.

This was my favorite tour of our entire trip. Our guide, Daniella was amazing. She was thorough and detailed and informative without being boring. Rome was amazing. We saw all the sites as promised. We did a lot of walking. Had plenty of time on our own for exploring and lunch. This was an excellent tour and worth the time and the money. Highly highly recommend this.

For a full day of site seeing you can't go wrong with this tour! Danielle was very informative and patient. We visited the colosseum, Trevi fountain and the vatican city to name a few. Worth every penny!!!

The trip was wonderful, the tour guide Danni was amazing and awesome. She prepared the tourist on the bus talking about the places we are going to visit and also showing/talking about the places the bus was traveling. The trip gave some time to roam around by ourselves. Glad we did this excursion with wonderful Tour guide Danni. We will recommend this trip to anyone with Danny as tour guide.

We started roughly 30 min late because we waited for a couple that didn't show up. I fear that they might be waiting at the wrong place. We had to take a 10 min shuttle bus ride from the terminal to a parking lot where the tour guides were. Our tour guide, Daniella, was friendly, informative and organized. My dad said it's much better than the last experience he and my mom had in 1980s. The tour began with Colosseum and ended up with Vatican. Note that with this type of tour, it's most unwise to buy advance tickets (Colosseum or Vatican). Use common sense and consider crazy traffic, delays due to people not showing up and not sticking to the timelines set by the guide. The itinerary can change because the end goal is going back to the ship on time. Our original group was split into two and one group had to use taxis once we reached the city to get to Vatican with their 10 am Vatican tickets. However, there's a special event in Vatican that morning which might affect their plan. The rest of us was a great bunch of people that stick to the schedule so we saw a lot, heard a lot and had a great time! Hey Viator! Can you add one more type of visit to your list of category? I and my parents are not "couples", "family(young children", "family(teens)", "friends","business", nor "solo".

We waited at the bus terminal exit as instructed before 7:08 am despite of the meeting time was 7:30 pm. After 8:00 am, we contacted the driverinrom and were told that they were gone because they could not find us but were able of find a group of 22 people. Recall from my memory, there was a lady rushed in the bus terminal after 7:45 am and she only carried a sign that I was not able to read. She passed through and did no ask us whether we belonged to the group.

Our tour guide switched the itinerary for the day, starting with the Vatican, and ending with the Colosseum. We booked this excursion originally because it was described as doing the opposite itinerary, with minimal time at the Vatican we had no intentions of fighting the crowds on this time limited excursion so were not happy it was changed. The silver lining was at it was Wednesday so the Pope was holding a public mass in St. Peter's Square, so we had a positive experience because of this. Our guide took us to a hill top overlooking the city while the rest of the group went into the Vatican, and then we visited the rest of the sights with the group once we reconvened. The positives were that our guide was extremely helpful with assisting us at the Colosseum with online tickets and filling in time while waiting for the rest of the group. My wish for the future would be a stricter timeline for the group to follow, and to stick to planned itineraries.

I was excited to go on this excursion . It was expensive especially for four people and did not include tickets to the Colleueum and also Did not include visit inside the St.Peters in Vatican city. We had to pay additional $80 ( for 4 people) to go inside the colleusm . I later found out that the ticket had also included the Roma Forum which we did not visit. We waited for more than an hour to go inside thew colleusm. It wasn't worth the amount we paid for.

One of the best tours I've ever been on! Dani our guide was so nice and had such a great knowledge of all the sites we got to see. Got so much done in one day. Bus was excellent very comfortable and well air conditioned and brought us straight to and from the port to all the major sites. Would really recommend this tour if you want to pack loads of site seeing into one day. Also even though we got to see so many sites such as Colosseum, the Vatican, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain etc the time spent at each sight wasn't rushed and had plenty of time to take it all in. Highly recommend and great value for money!

Our guide went above and beyond. Traffic was a nightmare with a race and parade scheduled the day of our visit. He still got us to every attraction on our list, knowing the back streets and work arounds. He never got flustered at all. He was so knowledgeable and even got one couple to a church they wanted to see. Thanks for the reserved tickets to the Colosseum--we went right to the head of the line!

Really super tour since it was a small group in a beautiful touring car. We zipped around Rome with ease and the guide did an incredible job taking us through back streets and all of the main sites to see in Rome.

Mikki was extremely knowledgeable. He gave so much interesting information. Basically the free shuttle drops you off at a port pick up place for tours and you meet your guide there. As soon as our party had all arrived, we left in a mini bus. Our guide made sure to let us know about safety and gave us comfort stops along the way. The tour was very informative and we left very satisfied. Were back to the ship in plenty of time. Don't forget to tip your guide and driver, they work hard!

Unfortunately this was the worst tour of our cruise. Driver was awful, extremely rude did not speak very highly of other Italians, you could tell he was not happy to be working that day. Everything rushed, extremely limited time to visit attraction had 10 minutes to visit the Vatican and was rushing to get us back to port. We were back on the ship by 3:30pm when ship left port at 7:00pm.
