Andreas, the tour guide was perfect, in making us having a wonderful time. We will never forget him speaking three languages :Italian, Spanish and English.

Too large a group for one person to handle

The guide spoke Spanish better than she spoke English and there were definitely things lost in translation. The Spanish version had more detail. She also didn't have a flag or anything to identify her. She was short and at times you couldn't see where she was and it was a large group. With such a large group, I think there should have been 2 guides. It was very difficult for her to keep track of everyone and 2 people were left behind. We have been on many tours in our 10 days in Europe and not once to Paula count us to make sure everyone was with us. And not very organized.

Dear Donna, thanks for sharing your feedback, this tour includes a Tour Leader (not a Tour Guide) and this diffferent, this is clearly reported in the tour description. For sure Paula she spoke better spanish (she is spanish mothertongue) but trust me that the info given were the same in both languages. The tour covers the most popular spots - como town, Lugano town and Bellagio town, which are all must go. The tour basically covers the bus and cruise transportation but lunch excluded. Enough free time for you to walk around and won’t feel too rush. I would recommend to stop by Ness if the tour allows.

Fun Times in Como

The description of the tour sounds wonderful. But in reality there just isn’t enough time to enjoy each of the destinations. The staff were professional and well informed. The guide pointed out places of interest, historical significance, and architectural achievement. I think the destinations require more time to be appreciated. From what we could see at the dock the boat ride around the lake looks very congested and crowded. It is not what one would imagine. But, again that is logistics. We only did the tour as far as Cuomo. Unfortunately we could not trace back the route to where the bus was going to pick us up in order to drive back to the docks where the boats were. So we did not get to rejoin the tour. The guides did their best to redirect us to the pick up point by GPS and WhatsApp. Regardless, we stayed for an afternoon in Lake Como and had lunch. There is a train station conveniently located in the town. There are trains running back to Milan all day.

Dear Thomas, thanks for sharing your experience, unfortunately you couldn't rejoin the group in Como at around 11:00am in order to go on with the tour as you got lost, we tried to let you join an alternative tour but you refused to do it. As you said we did our best to help you, but you can't say that "isn’t enough time to enjoy each of the destinations" as you left the tour almost at the beginning. Best Regards Davide

The Guide and driver were excellent. The weather was perfect! The place we visited were all interesting and lovely. The boat for the cruise down Lake Como was too crowded - we couldn’t get a good enough seat to see the views properly and it was a cramped and uncomfortable couple of hours.

The trip was okay, but I've had better. The guide Marchella was great and Mauritzio was a fantastic driver, so this isn't a comment on their performance. To be honest, I think Marchella shined when she ensured our spot on the boat ride back from Bellagio to Como. This trip is for you if you want to see these three places for about an hour to an hour and a half each. They are without a doubt beautiful places. But if you're going with the expectation of taking pictures like the ones you see of hot young people on Instagram you may be disappointed. You're an average person, at best a 7. You will not be going onto anyone's estate and snapping shots. Every possible camera angle for you is available on Street View. Still amazing and beautiful, but some folks may have ridiculously unrealistic expectations of where they are going. If you're set on going I'd advise reading up a bit on these places before you go. We had minimal narration from our tour guide, which was fine with me. It lets you enjoy the area on your own terms and go wherever you want. Could you go to all these places on your own and save a lot of money? I haven't done the calculations but I'm pretty sure it's yes. However, it is nice to have paid someone to figure it out for you and to shepherd you around from place to place. They'll also make sure you don't miss the boat out of Bellagio, forcing you to drastically change your plan. Speaking of the boat, that was the only true let down of this adventure. It wasn't a lakeside cruise so much as it was a ferry packed full of people. Plus, we didn't really 'skip the line'. We stood right in it waiting in a line that stretched down a narrow alley. On the boat there were chairs to sit on, but half of us were sitting on the floor. You pull into small ports along the way and a few people get off, but most folks are on until you pull into Como. There were some great views from the deck, but as the sun sets it does get chilly. Plus, you're probably going to be standing for a while. I can't remember how long exactly. I think I gave up keeping track of time after 90 minutes. Now, we did go on Easter Sunday, so that may have accounted for the crowds, but my guess is this popular destination will always be full of people. Like I said, the guide and driver were great and I cannot knock them. I do appreciate that I got to see these places but for me, I'm not sure the value is there. We were in Italy for 12 days, and specifically in Milan for only four. For myself, I would've rather spent that day in Milan. But if you've got time and you want to sample these places (and not arrange everything yourself), the trip may be worth your while.

Dear Casey, we are sorry to read this review, first of all there is not a tour guide in this tour but only a tour leader, for this reason you had minimal narration as her duty is different from what you think (this is clearly explained in the tour description), even if our tour leaders give a lot of details about attractions and locations. Then you probably choose the crowdest day of the season (easter sunday) pleanty italians and worldwide tourists, you can trust us that is not the standard situation, and during this day the Navigation Company filled the ferry till the maximum capacity, and thet as you can understand is not our fault.
