Ability to ride a geared bike - Lake Como is mountainous. There is uphill and downhill riding, sections of easy gravel and narrow village paths. General athleticism, agility and confidence on a bike are required.
Not recommended for travelers with mobility impairments, injuries, bad hips and lack of agility.
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 8 travellers

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

The bikes are very good and the route is awesome. We struggled a bit with the diversity of the group - some people wanted to go fast and got in front of the guide, others needed to go a bit slower. The guide had to go back and find lost riders twice. Ultimately he got the group managed and organized but it took half the ride to do so. I would have appreciated a bit of that from the start. Overall a very good experience!

A Beautiful and Fun Tour

I had a fantastic time on this bike tour! Luigi was an excellent guide and pointed out many interesting spots on our trip. There was a good mix of mountain and lake views with rides through small local villages, and the history was interesting to learn. Takes you through a lot of areas with locals which is nice to see. We had a small group which was nice to get to know my fellow tour members, and avoid losing any people. The walkie talkies were an excellent idea and I felt fully aware during the tour about any upcoming cars, turns, and viewpoints. The E-bikes were a godsend for all the uphill parts, made it so much more enjoyable. With 5 electric assist levels, you can change the difficulty within a second, which helped when I wanted to challenge myself on some parts. My only feedback was that there could be more stopping points at some of the scenic overviews, I was trying to take a photo at some spots while riding, which was a bit tough. Definitely one of my favorite experiences of my trip!

Excellent day! Excellent guide, Luigi. Beautiful, scenic routes. Very high quality e-bikes. I cannot recommend this tour enough, it was a great way to see the countryside. No worries about going uphill with the e-bike to assist, but you do need to be confident on varied terrain and handling the heavier e-bike on downhills. Thanks so much Luigi!

Luigi was incredible. Very informative, nice, great english, and could not have been more accommodative. Would highly recommend. BEAUTIFUL scenery. I usually mountain bike and this was a first on a E-bike. Literally almost anyone can do this. Very good bikes.

Fantastic Experience

Emily did a fantastic job with coordinating the event to include picking us up and helping decipher the Bus schedule. Luigi (the eBike guide) was a fantastic guide. His instructions were clear, he took photos for us, he explained the historical sites we rode by, and he gave us time to take in the beautiful scenic sites. Luigi was humorous and enthusiastically shared the local culture with us. The eBikes were easy to learn and made cycling up steep inclines a breeze. We would book this tour again if we return to Lake Como. Thank you Emily and Luigi for the wonderful experience!

Must Do Activity in the Lake Region

This was a fantastic afternoon tour. We got to ride up the hills to 800 meters above sea level with amazing views down of Lake Como and then amazing views down of Lake Lugano. The favorite part for me was riding through "ghost" villages up in the hills where people have abandoned homes, but the charm and beauty remains. It felt like stepping back in time. Quick stop at Lake Lugano where the teenagers swam in the lake while the moms sipped a glass of Prosecco before making the easy ride back. One of the highlights of the trip. Can't recommend it enough.
