Your round-trip journey to the Grand Canyon West Rim begins with hotel pickup on the Las Vegas Strip. Watch the scenery slip past through oversized panoramic windows as you pass the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead (photo stop included) and then a stop for breakfast (included).

On arrival at the Grand Canyon West Rim, board a six-passenger helicopter with large vista windows for a quick descent approximately 4,000 feet (1,200 meters) to the canyon floor, where you board your pontoon boat.

Swap your helicopter for a shuttle bus tour to Guano Point for a bird's-eye view of the canyon. You also stop at Eagle Point, where you can view the Hualapai Village and browse for jewelry and crafts. Lunch is included.

After lunch, board your coach for the return drive to Las Vegas, with drop-off at your hotel.

This trip has been an all time life bucket list trip. It did not fail to impress. Long coach ride from Vegas (3 hours) but flying over the rim and down to the canyon base and actually looking UP on the canyon - this is the best ever experience. Amazing and worth every penny.

Great Grand canyon west rim tour
Sunki_R, Mar 2023
The driver was very cosiderable and nice. Every course was well planned but a little obscure in using food voucher.
Response from Host, Mar 2023
Hello Sunki_R, Thank you for leaving Gray Line such a nice 4-star review. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your day with us and our driver/guide. Since 1910 the Gray Line family of nearly 200 worldwide sightseeing companies have been seeking out the best guides in every destination we serve, so it's nice to know our guide did such a great job and had great suggestions. On behalf of everyone at Gray Line around the globe, I want you to know that we all hope to see you on another adventure sometime very soon. Regards, GL Vegas Customer Service
Worst experience ever
John_B, Mar 2023
Worst experience we have ever had during our travels. Bus driver with Gray Line left us at the busstop after being 40 min late. Stated they were overbooked. Driver extremely rude. We booked 2 weeks in advance and confirmed the day prior.
Response from Host, Mar 2023
Dear John_B, Thank you for having chosen Gray Line tours and on behalf of everyone at Gray Line Las Vegas I want to apologize for the abrupt cancellation of your sightseeing tour. At Gray Line we realize the impact that a tour cancellation can have on our valued guests vacations plans, much less a last minute cancellation, which is why we rarely cancel any of our scheduled tours. On the morning of your tour, due to an unexpected mechanical issue with the coach that was scheduled on your excursion, we had to use a much smaller coach. This is the cause of the unfortunate incident. Of course, we have already processed your refund. In closing, I do want to again apologize for this issue, and I want to wish you all the best in your future travel experiences. Sincerely, GL Vegas Customer Service
The place is great to...
Rodica_C, Sept 2022
The place is great to visit. However, is better to book a private tour with a max 4 persons than a bus tour. We were picked up from the hotel in a bus of 50 people. Only 9 of us had the extra option of heli/ boat (the most expensive). We were dropped off fist at the heli instead of the skybridge where was the most crowded as cheaper (only $69). By the time we got to the bridge, after heli, there was a 2 hrs wait. We waited in the sun znd did not have time for the promissed snd oaid for barbecue lunch at the Eagle view point. Not to say that the driver paid most attention to the rest of the tour participants with the cheaper option. After we walked the bridge we found that the driver left us to wait him for about 45 minutes in the parking lot while he went to pick up the others from Eagle point where they enjoyed lunch and views. Not to say that on our way back to LV, the A/C in the bus was either turned off or down as we soaked and baked. All in all, if you are party of 2 to 4, rent your own car and drive yourself. Once you are st the Grand Canyon West you can purchase tge "greatest package" includes all, I mean it all for only $366. You do the math and will see that you will be better off that way. I have booked all my vacations thru Viator, the were all great, ut this one left me a dour taste.
Response from Host, Sept 2022
Dear Rodica_C, Thank you for being a Gray Line customer and we sorry that we missed your expectations and that you felt rushed during your time at the Grand Canyon. For guests that book the helicopter/boat option we always recommend they do this first as do to weather conditions that can change (mostly wind) rapidly during the afternoon doing the helicopter later can result in the cancellation of that tour aspect. And since nothing can quite compare with the bird's eye view of the Canyon you get while descending 4000 feet to bottom, we do think this is the most important part of the day. Not to mention taking a boat on the mighty Colorado River and seeing millions of years of history represented in the Canyon walls above you. On behalf of everyone at Gray Line around the globe, I want to wish you all the best in your future travel experiences. Sincerely, GL Vegas Customer Service
Stressful experience
Julie_W, Aug 2022
We waited 2.5 hours to board the helicopter for only 30 minutes of activity (helicopter/boat) Did not get breakfast or lunch at either skywalk or guano point We could not even make it out to any points or skywalk Very disorganized and need to skip the Hoover damn when there are folks scheduled to do helicopter and skywalk. Tour guide sucked the bus driver was great!
Response from Host, Aug 2022
Dear Julie_W, Thank you for being a Gray Line customer and I do want to apologize for the delay you experienced with the helicopter portion of your West Rim tour. The helicopter company we use at the West Rim is the largest and oldest helicopter sightseeing company in the world and usually when they have a delay it is due to safety concerns as the Grand Canyon can create occasional wind conditions that back things up a bit. We are sorry that this affected your day, but we are happy that you were able to get the bird's eye view of the Grand Canyon that is only possible as you descend 4000 feet from the top to the bottom. Sincerely, GL Vegas Customer Service
Las Vegas Grand Canyon trip
Linda_L, Aug 2022
Grand Canyon was awesome, but we didn't get to do the Skywalk due to lightning and weather changes. I was told to expect a refund x2 or partial refund for the 2 tickets purchased
Response from Host, Aug 2022
Dear Linda_L, Thank you for being a Gray Line customer and we are sorry for the weather issues you had at Eagle Point. Anytime someone visits a remote nature location mother nature is always a wild card on how the day turns out. Refunds for SkyWalk issues are always processed promptly. On behalf of everyone at Gray Line I want to wish you only sunny days & good weather in your future travel adventures. Sincerely, GL Vegas Customer Service

EDGAR_C, July 2022
The driver wasnt allowing us to do what we paid for. The package we paid for included many things, he made us choose out of the events we had already paid for because "he werent going to have enough time and he wasnt going to wait for us". The bus driver was being very rude and yelling at us infront of the entire bus. So we chose a event and arrived to the bus at the designated time he had said. He made us wait an hour and a half for the last person to get in the bus but yet we were not allowed to do what we paid for.
Response from Host, July 2022
Dear Edgar, Thank you for being a Gray Line customer and we are sorry for the driver issues you experienced. Since the founding of Gray Line over 100 years ago customer service has always been our priority and we are very sorry that this was not your experiences. We are launching an investigation into your driver to see if we can fix the issues you experienced through additional training or if we need to find a more permanent solution. In closing, I want to once again apologize and I also want to wish you all the best in your future travel experiences. Sincerely, GL Vegas Customer Service
Checked one off my bucket list.
MaryEllen_B, May 2022
Wonderful trip. Everything was as good as advertised. My only complaint is that the Grand Canyon visit was not long enough to see everything if you do the helicopter and boat ride.
Response from Host, May 2022

Must do trip!
HXL-SML_BDAY, Mar 2021
Four star due to outrageous long lines for food and Skywalk. Not enough time to fully experience all stops. Recommend helicopter and boat ride down the Colorado River, must do. Tommy bus driver was awesome.
Horrible experience
nancy_n, July 2020
Horrible. They only delivered half of what they promised on the website. Unethical and misleading. Will NEVER use them again. Would NOT recommend!
One of the 7 wonders

anncowperthwaite, Oct 2019
Picked up from hotel by coach and transferred to Central pick up point could upgrade to mini bus ( I would say no went at same time as bus) driver gave plenty info Hoover dam lake mead stop off canyon stop was about 4 hours helicopter trip and pontoon ride amazing!!! Did optional sky walk I'm afraid of heights and still managed it my advice leave out cowboy stop off (stop one) until last as if you are going to see the canyon this is the most commercial part of the tour lunch supplied at point 3 views are amazing well worth the price amazing memories
More Organisation Needed
Cathy L, Oct 2019
This was the place that my husband wanted to see the most during our US trip so we thought we would go all out and book this tour, I wouldn't make that decision again. I would like to say Grey Lines coaches, driver & tour guide were fantastic. They picked us up from our hotel, took us to their head office where we were sorted into our specific tours whether it be West Rim or South Rim, loaded us back onto the coach and had a very pleasant trip to Hoover Dam & Grand Canyon. Our guide, Dwayne was hilarious which made the trip even more pleasant. It was when we arrived at the Grand Canyon that it all fell apart! We arrived at 11am and as we had booked the Helicopter & Boat part of the tour, were taken straight to the office to book in, along with six others from our coach. Our guide told us as he left us there, to be back at the coach to return to Las Vegas, at 3pm. We though this would give us plenty of time to do what was included in the tour and have a bit of spare time to look around as there was a second lookout area we were aware of. Boy, were we wrong! After checking in, we were taken to the area to board the helicopter and waited until it was our turn. We watched as people who had arrived after us, were taken to the helicopter before us. Finally, it was our turn. To cut a long story short...the 20 minute helicopter ride to the base of the canyon and back plus the 15 minute Colorado River ride took 3 hours. We had one hour left to catch the shuttle to Eagle Point lookout and have the lunch that was included as part of the tour. We arrived at Eagle Point and found the place to get our lunch. We had three Chinese meals to choose from, served with overcooked rice, cold vegetables, a piece of fruit & a warm bottle of water. The orange I received, was rotten. After eating, we had a quick look from Eagle Point lookout and caught the shuttle back to where our bus was waiting for us as it was after 3pm. Hence, we didn't get to go to the other lookout. Of the six others that did the helicopter & boat ride, all of them did the Skywalk so they were much later than us getting back to the coach, three of them didn't even get to have their lunch. The disappointing part about this is that the cost of this tour for one of us was more expensive than our 4 nights accommodation at the Excalibur for both of us.
Lifelong Fabulous memories
Roderick_S, July 2019
Incredible experience at West Rim with helicopter and Colorado boat trip. The chopper and boat took up 2 of the 3.5 hours on-site, leaving very little time for skyrim, included meal and sightseeing. Shame it was so rushed as it is truly breathtaking.

West rim experience
Lesley_R, May 2019
The helicopter ride was brilliant but there were not enough staff for the boat ride to operate effectively. This led to long delays and the ride on the river was curtailed. The knock on effect was that we had insufficient time to visit all of the other activities.
Grand Canyon West Rim Day Trip
Howard_D, May 2019
The tour was too rushed. We were picked up at 5.45am (no problem) but never left Vegas until 8.30 while the tour group fussed around offering options and the opportunity to spend time and money at their base. Too lengthy stops at supposed "pit stops" providing opportunity for tourists to purchase overpriced trinkets. 11/2 hour wait for the helicopter left us rushing all the rest of the time. The Skywalk was a rort! Having given up our cameras and phones out of respect for the indigenous "spirits" one could not freely move around the skywalk because of all the commercial photography taking place. A rushed lunch saw us still racing to catch the return bus without any opportunity to dwell in this great location.
Best tour of the Grand Canyon
Darya_A, May 2019
Every aspect of the tour was expertly handled. The helicopter tour, the river tour and the Skywalk were all amazing. Thomas , our bus driver, was great and very funny. I highly recommend this specific tour, and Viator and all the employees we dealt with.
wonderful
Timothy_D, Apr 2019
Every part of this day trip was wonderful! Winds gusts were 50mph but the pilot was great. Thanks to our tour guide, Felix.
Do not choose this company
Penny_D, Mar 2019
It’s a tour without a tour guide with an unprofessionally company. They first great you in the bus depot centre with a guy that you think will be your guide who is exhuberant and knowledgeable. However after this you are on your own. They put you on a bus with a bus driver who doesn’t talk to you as he thinks his only job is to drive you. They play some prerecorded tapes of annoying American actors instead of providing you with a guide to be interactive with and that you can ask questions of. When you stop at the Hoover dam you just get off, no explanation, no time to be back no discussion. We thought that was strange but it just got stranger. When we arrived at the Canyon the driver again dumps you and says be back here by 3:30pm. No instructions on which bus ( there are a lot) no stickers for your group and no other explanation. So you walk into the helicopter booking room and everyone was just looking at each other wondering what to do. There were other groups there with guides that even though came after us got to go on the helicopter before us- I’m presuming cause they had a guide. We waited more than an hr there to get on the helicopter not knowing what to do and no guide to ask questions. Cause we waited so long we missed going to all the shuttle bus stops. We had to get a map that was the only one left otherwise we would have had no idea of the shuttle bus stops. When we got back to the bus the driver drove off at 3:30 without doing a final count and left two passengers behind. The other bus from the same company had two of our passengers on his bus and his two passengers were left behind. We drove for 30 mins out of the Canyon only to receive a phone call of the incident and then we thought they made other arrangements because he continued to drive for another 20 mins back to Vegas before he could find a spot to turn the bus around to collect the other passengers. So we drove for 1 hr and 40 mins !! When we tried to reason with the bus driver to arrange alternate transport he just ignored us. A couple of different people on the bus rang the company at the time to try and explain what had happen to see if they could arrange for other transport. It just wouldn’t have happened had we had a tour guide and a professional company that had a list of passenger names, ticked off the passengers , had identified stickers and did a head count! It truely was just take your money and run type situation- and it was more than $400 USD - avoid like the plague
A 12 hour tour that would never end
Heather_K, Mar 2019
Please, do yourself a favor and don't book this tour. After riding on a bus for 3 hours, we got there to find out that 2 lookouts were closed, they weren't running the helicopters or boats, and they had closed the Skywalk. The driver told us to be back at the bus in 2.5 hours (there was one point open) when we were supposed to be there for 4 hours. Then there were people that didn't come back on time so we all sat and waited on the bus for another 45 minutes before heading back to Las Vegas. It was over 12 hours from pickup to drop off. When I requested a refund I was granted a partial refund from Grayline. I asked them to refund me in full and they refused. I also talked to Viator who also refused to refund any money so currently I am disputing this charge with my credit card company. This tour isn't worth the head ache.
