What To Expect

Begin this exciting outdoor day trip with a hotel pickup in Las Vegas, followed by a drive to Peach Springs, Arizona. Travel over the breathtaking Hoover Dam Bypass to Kingman, Arizona, then continue east on famous Route 66 to the Hualapai Indian community of Peach Springs.

Upon arrival, van transportation is provided to the Colorado River.

At the banks of the Colorado River, meet a Native American guide, who provides a brief safety orientation and equipment overview (life vests and rain gear provided) before boarding a pontoon raft. From there, the voyage continues along the Colorado River over Class III+ rapids before the water evens out. Stops are made throughout the trip to discover hidden canyons and waterfalls, including a side hike to Travertine Waterfall.

Enjoy a complimentary boxed lunch in the solitude of the canyon and be sure to bring a waterproof camera for incredible photo opportunities. From here, it’s smooth floating past fluted rock formations and historic Separation Canyon.

This was probably the best tour I have ever taken and we were extremely satisfied. Everyone involved was great and made the trip enjoyable. The guides were very knowledgeable and you could tell they really liked their job. Michael who drove us out to the river had a ton of knowledge to give us and made sure to point out as much as he could going down. Our guide on the boat, Andrew, was great as well and I'd ask for him when we come back for this again. He was super nice, knowledgeable, and overall made sure we had a great time. I was pretty impressed by the training they have to go through for certification and was impressed overall by the way he took us down the river. Ron who drove us out was super nice as well and made sure we were prepped. That said about the staff, the actual trip was amazing and a highly reccomend it to anyone who wants to see the GC from the river. I was hesitant to book this trip at first thinking we might not see a lot or the rapids might be small due to it being a one day trip or more towards the end of the usual longer trips but I was 100 wrong - you go through a decent amount of larger rapids and you see a lot of great stuff. Highly recommend climbing to the waterfall too. We had a great time the entire trip and I want to come back ASAP. One last thing - we wore thick plastic suits and still were drenched but they were still worth wearing because they acted as a shield from the water so I would recommend wearing one on the trip just for that reason.

The best and most in-depth views of The Canyon
Puran_P, Sept 2022
This is without doubt the best way to really experience the canyon. You get to meet the local. The rafting is not at all dangerous and super fun! The views are spectacular! I can honestly say that I experienced the Canyon and the people who preserve its natural beauty.
Be careful when scheduling your appointment.
Luis_N, July 2022
I made a scheduling area when booking my adventure. I quickly (within 3 to 4 minutes) tried to correct the mistake but the money was debited from the account and when trying to get in touch with the company to discuss options none were available. The bottom line was I was charge 600 and something dollars with no recourse. Beware at scheduling time if you make a mistake you will be severely penalized.
Response from Host, July 2022
Well another example of someone who doesn't appreciate great customer service. This season we only have 40 seats available instead of 96 that is why they there are so many sold out dates. When the booking came in at around midnight I saw that there were only 3 seats available. I knew if I waited to confirm the trip the trip would not have been there in the morning. I quickly confirmed the trip. 20 minutes later not 4 minutes as this understanding person says, He asked for a cancellation. When I confirm a booking inside of 30 days I am forced to pay for the entire trip to all vendors. Which I have now done. He's upset because I truly tried to give him the best service possible. In a normal season I would have been able to cancel him as I wouldn't have got to the confirmation until the next morning. I am sorry you are unhappy but giving me a 1 star for not even taking the tour is pedantic.
Everything and more!

Must do if you enjoy being in nature. Rapids are fun and get you soaked. Views are simply amazing. Long drive from Vegas but van is comfortable and driver super fun. A great break from the crowds of Vegas.
Fun on the river
Joseph_M, Oct 2021
The walk up to the cave was great. Everything around all the way down the river was beautiful breathtaking.
Do it again!!!
Sandy_M, Aug 2021
This tour surpassed our expectations. The driver arrived on time and fully explained what to expect. Our guide, Elijah, was just amazing! It was a hot Fay in the Canyon but the cold river felt great, and going over the turbulence was thrilling! My friends and I would do this tour again in a second!!

What an adventure! We love they made it interesting, everyone know what they're doing and friendly people.
Response from Host, Aug 2021
Covid has made it a tough season on us all so we are very happy when families come out and have an adventure the way it was designed to be. Grand Canyon, Water, Rapids, Waterfalls, Route 66 it's like no other adventure out there. Thank you for your patronage and I look forward to seeing you next time. Randy

Fun and adventure
MariannaMaja_R, July 2021
Excitement, Fun experience. Navigator was fantastic. Love our stops in the caves and waterfalls. Very cool adventure.
Response from Host, July 2021
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you and your family. We strive to have the best adventure possible from Las Vegas and surrounding areas. My favorite spot is the Mineral Springs Waterfall and rope ladder. I love the history of that area and the geologic formations that have developed over the centuries. Thank you for the great review and we look forward to seeing you on one of our other trips soon. Best to all. Randy
Amazing!

Amazing
Bita_M, July 2021
Took this activity this past Wednesday. Had too much trouble with the motor on the boat. The view and our driver, Ron, more than made up for it!
Response from Host, July 2021
Hi, Sorry to hear about the engine issues. It's been a bit more frequent this past season. Ironically it's due to Covid disrupting the supply lines for the Yamaha/Honda Outboard motors making the engines we use very difficult to procure. It's been getting better recently but it does seem the hotter it gets the more that particular issue appears. Thank you for your patience and understanding on the trip. Everyone wants the best outcomes everytime we take out on an adventure. Take care, Randy, Let's Go Tours.
Excellent trip.
Kenneth_P, July 2021
Excellent trip. Views and activity are great, all staff was wonderful. Only 1 complaint - tour was sold with helicopter exit, there was no helicopter
Response from Host, July 2021
Hi, yes some people that booked earlier in the year would have had the helicopter if chosen. Recently the dock has had some issues and they have cancelled the helicopter as they cannot land there. all together It's not worth it at the new $149 price they want to sell it at. We never sold it at the new rate. We had a few sales go thru at the old rate of 90.00 which you should get a complete refund for. Email me and I will make sure your refunded for your helicopter portion. I apologize for the inconvenience. Best, Randy
It was a wonderful , beautiful experience.
slagarde, June 2021
We loved the experience immensely. Our guides were very helpful , friendly , and taught us a lot about the area and the tribal culture. We loved the hike up to the falls , too. Our van drivers were also excellent. Our only issue - we thought we were to take a helicopter return trip. It’s not clear what happened to that plan , but we were looking forward to the flight. It was a very long day for us. But we were happy you found us an alternate carrier. Thanks to all of the DC9 ( I think) people who made it possible.
Response from Host, July 2021
Hi, yes the helicopter can be a bit of contention. It's just to get you out of the canyon not back to your starting point. This year they raised the price from 90 dollars to 140 dollars. Which is out of line for a six minute flight. We decided not to offer it any longer as it isn't worth it. If it brought you back to Vegas or even the starting point that would be great but that's not what it's designed for. It is available Thursday's thru Sunday each week but recently the dock area has issues and they have cancelled it for most of the season going forward. So issues with the helicopter never seem to go away. So we no longer offer it. I'm glad you had a great trip. Best to you guys. See you next itme, Randy
Must see the canyon from the bottom floor truly a must see and do .
John_M, May 2021
The waves, the views special treat seeing the waterfall. All of the staff were very nice, friendly and helpful.
Response from Host, July 2021
Aren't' the views just amazing. Everytime I get to go on a trip I always bring my camera looking for a new angle for a picture and I'm never disappointed. Thank you for your kind description. Regards, Randy
Insanely fun
Adam_P, May 2021
Super fun 10/10 would definitely go again be prepared to get wet, bring sunscreen bc you will always be in the sun but the guides are super fun qnd informative and willing to adjust how hard they hit the rapids depending on your groups comfort level the group decided to go as hard as possibly and was so fun
Response from Host, July 2021
I always tell folks that this tour is by far the best fun you can have in a 12 hour period. From seeing Route 66, Indian Reservations, several ecosystems on your way to the bottom of the canyon to all of the great sheer cliffs and mineral spring waterfalls. You've got the fun, history, and beauty all in one trip. Thanks for the great review take care and we will see you next time, Randy
Great River Ride in the Canyon
Mark_S, May 2021
The water is definitely cold and you get soaked but worth the ride! Ron our van driver was the best and the raft guides were great as well. Stopped along the way to climb up to see and stand under a waterfall which is definitely a must-do. Fantastic day!
Response from Host, July 2021
Thank you for the great review. I'm Ron's boss and I always tell people that he was born to be a guide. He's just got that personality for that line of work. He makes my job as owner much easier for sure. Thank you for the comments/review. I hope you guys all got some great photos of the Grand Canyon, the kind that you frame and hang. We will see you next time, Randy
Viator Scamers
Mark_H, Apr 2021
I booked a Grand Canyon White water Rafting trip with a Helicopter extract from the canyon floor. This was and currently is the only bookable option on Viator's website. They have a trip only but no book now button for that option. So I booked the trip with the helicopter extract. But once I contacted the company that actually takes you on the tour they informed me that there is NO helicopter extraction option available and Viator know this. Yet they're knowingly baiting people into booking trips with options that are no longer available. Once you trapped in the trip you must struggle to try and get a refund. With both parties blaming each other for the problem. My advice, USE ANOTHER COMPANY
Response from Host, May 2021
I do apologize that you had a horrible trip. You are in the minority. We as contracters are under the guidlines given us and after Covid there has been many last minute changes. They started off only offering Helicopter on Weekends, then they opened it up to helicopter on Thursday's thru Sunday's then now they have removed them completely. Nobody is scamming anyone. You were re-imbursed the helicopter portion of 90 dollars for a 6 minute ride from the bottom to the top. You booked a White Water Rafting Adventure not a helicopter ride. They have all subsequently been removed as an option last week. It is a shame to see such a review for the entire tour based on a six minute helicopter ride while we have almost extensively 5 stars. I noticed you didn't comment on the actual White Water as being bad. Well, God Bless, Cheers Randy Let's Go Tours.
great day during covid 19 times
tonya_F, Sept 2020
good from start to end. Driver Ron, guide Keven took extra care of us. safe and fun journey with respect for Covid 19 protection of customers. excellent. the Rapids were amazing and the whole scenery in the canyon was out of this world. clean cool waters made the very hot ambient temperatures bearable
Fantastic experience
RON_F, Sept 2019
We were picked up by Ron at our hotel. He was gracious, knowledgeable and funny. The ride itself was fun and full of excitement. Everything was professionally done. I would bring swimming goggles because the water gets in your eyes and so you need to turn away. I would also bring some kind of cushion to sit on because you are sitting on metal with ridges . When you hit the waves you bounce hard on the metal. Our behinds hurt. Last bring sneakers with ridges so you don’t slip( not tennis shoes )
