Pickup details

The complimentary shuttle picks up at select hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Please ensure you are on time to your given location out of respect to other guests on tour. Failure to be on time could result in a loss of the tour without refund. These specified hotels have quick and easy access for the shuttle to get through the busy strip, so you can spend less time in traffic and more time on the river! Travelers may also meet at the office located inside The Hoover Dam Lodge Casino. There is free parking and is last to be picked up and first to be dropped off from the shuttle. Travelers may meet at launch destination (25804 Willow Beach Rd, Willow Beach, AZ 86445) *National Park vehicle entrance fee is $25 (payable direct to the National Park Service)

What To Expect

Get picked up from your Las Vegas hotel or, if you prefer, you can also meet at the local operator’s office, which is a short drive from the Strip.

Once your guide has assigned everyone in your group a kayak, start your journey by paddling upstream into Black Canyon. Enjoy beautiful sights as you travel through and stop for a snack. Make your way to Emerald Cave where you can take a dip in the emerald-green-colored water before going back to Willow Beach. Call it a day and get shuttled back to your hotel.

Please note: In order for the local operator to obtain the necessary permits for this tour ALL traveler names must be provided as they appear on a government-issued ID such as a driver's license or passport. Your tour will not be confirmed unless all names are provided. Please ensure all names are spelled correctly, names cannot be changed once reservation is submitted.

Kayak trip in May

Arranged at short notice whilst in Las Vegas after doing the Grand Canyon with viator. Web chat sorted the booking out quickly and the kayak company sent all the detail’s through for where to meet at our hotel with photos of the pick up point which was a great help. Transport arrived at planned time and Ray greeted with a great smile and lots of enthusiasm. On the way explained what we would be doing. Once at water kayaks we’re ready a comprehensive safety brief and we were off on our 4 mile adventure. Good tip is to book early tour time and you will get to emerald cave before the rest of other kayak groups.

It was awesome and super fun. Our tour guide was very friendly and provided lots of good information. He even remembered our names! I enjoyed the water guns. You will get wet lol. So dress accordingly and make sure to put your stuff in a waterproof bag. It is a workout though. Your shoulders and arms will be sore if you are not physically fit. Good thing we used a tandem. My advice is Choose a good kayaking partner. Lol We even had some time to do a little hike to take pictures. Such a gem that is so close to Las Vegas.

Beautiful scenery, crystal clear water and if you were tired or hung over jump in the 55° water will wake you write up Our tour guide Blake did an excellent job and it was great having a smaller group so we could cover more of the river than a larger group.

This was the best experience/ day ever!! Jamaica was our tour guide and we loved her! She was very informative and knowledgeable about the history. The water was so clear and the landscaping was magnificent! We got to see lots of big horn mountain sheep. The beach stop was cool! You can get out and cool off in the water and take a little hike up and take in the view and scenery! Absolutely best day ever! We will definitely do this tour again our next trip back! Jamaica made this experience the best!! Highly recommend!!

This is our second time kayaking with blazing paddles and the staff is great! We had a very difficult trip, winds were VERY strong at times. Our guide was wonderful, Ray, and did her very best to make sure we were all hanging in there. I might suggest that on those tough days, maybe a second guide to help. We did lose inexperience kayakers and that held up the group for a while until they could get back to shore with our guide. She worked her butt off to take care of all of us! Thank you Ray!!

The overall experience was great, very natural, many wild lives. But the guide was not caring enough at all, and he didn’t know what he should do in his job, he just kayak and drive, but provided no good experience to me and my friends at least.

Had a great time! Cindi was so nice getting us set up, detailed directions sent to me and made sure we were going to have a wonderful time. Seth was our guide. He was absolutely the nicest, funniest and best guide I’ve ever had on any excursion. I would highly recommend Blazzin Paddles. The tour guide picked me up sharp at my hotel. She was as pleasant and informative. Helped with the boat putting in the water. Although the wind was strong at times the paddling was enjoyable and we had a great experience. Snacks and water were provided and we had a great time.
