After a hotel pickup, make the 20-minute drive south from the Las Vegas Strip to Sky Combat Ace near the Henderson Executive Airport.
Sky Combat Ace (SCA) is the world's most extreme aviation attraction. Choose to go along for an adrenaline-pumping sightseeing ride or get behind the controls and fly the fighter jet (with the supervision of a highly trained SCA fighter pilot, of course). It’s easy to become the pilot, pulling Gs and squeezing the trigger to ‘get the kill.’ Best of all, there is absolutely no flight experience necessary.

The Afterburner is like a roller coaster without the rails, full of non-stop spins, rolls, loops, tumbles and heart-pounding action. Experience a full aerobatic airshow routine — from inside the plane. Finally, the Top Gun experience is designed for those who want to get serious about aerial thrills and fly the plane through a complete aerobatic routine. This one’s not for the faint of heart.

Q:Can I participate in the Flight Experience if I have no flight experience?
A:Absolutely! All of the aircraft are equipped with dual flight controls, so your highly trained instructor pilot can easily take the controls in the unlikely event that it becomes necessary.

Q:Can I bring friends and family to my Flight Experience?
A:Guests are welcome if seats are available on the shuttle. To ensure availability, call the local operator at the phone number on your ticket at least 24 hours in advance. Shuttle availability for non-flying guests cannot be guaranteed.

Q:Are photos and/or videos available for purchase during my Flight Experience package?
A:There are several video and photo packages to choose from and they start at $50 per person. You will see photo samples at check-in, so there is no need to book these services in advance.

Q:Can I bring my own camera/GoPro in the airplane during my Flight Experience?
A:Due to FAA rules and regulations, unapproved cameras are not permitted. All planes have mounts and cameras in various locations (to capture the action from different angles) which have been tested to withstand the rigors of unlimited aerobatics.

Q:Are there any age, weight or height restrictions for the Flight Experience?
A:There are no age limits, but guests under 18 require an adult to sign a waiver. Guests must weigh between 80lbs (36 kilos) and 265lb (130 kg) with a maximum height of 6'6 (2 meters) to participate.

Q:Are there any other restrictions for participating in the Flight Experience?
A:You should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.

A:Dress comfortably. Shoes and socks are required. Warm jackets are recommended in wintertime.

A:The Extra 330 monoplane is built of carbon fiber construction, which is 9 times stronger than steel. It has zero prohibited maneuvers, which is a testament to its strength and engineering.

A:Safety is the #1 priority. All pilots are certified flight instructors and go through a rigorous training program to qualify for Sky Combat Ace. In addition, the FAA requires all participants to wear parachutes on aerobatic flights.

Q:Will I get airsick during the Flight Experience?
A:Your pilot will do everything in their power to prevent airsickness. You will start with basic maneuvers and work your way up to more advanced profiles. If necessary, you can take a break between maneuvers to give your stomach a chance to catch up.

Amazing experience and I would definitely do it again. And by doing it again I mean holding on to the side rail and screaming my lungs out while the pilot does the actual combat stunts. Still felt cool afterwards.

The entire experience was better than my expectations! Truly an incredible experience! Everyone should try this at least once! It has now put roller coasters to shame for me! I just want to fly!!!!

The facilities are excellent. The pre flight prep was succinct and informative. The pool ERS were terrific. Really enhanced the experience. Actually flying the plane wasn’t a part of my expectations but it was great fun. Loved the dog fight!

It was a great experience, chances are you'd never be upside down in an airplane if you are not a fighter jet pilot or a stunt plane pilot. This experience is one of a kind, although a bit pricy but you just won't get this experience anywhere else.

I have traveled all over the world and done multiple experiences
I I was blown away by the experience here
The package is on Viator a little bit confusing
The best one to get a top gun with a $299 add-on to go 20 extra minutes that gets you to a beautiful view of red rock Canyon-upside down
Juice was my PRO
He is a licensed private commercial pilot and and aeronautics acrobatic pro
The flight begins out of the airport and with the $299 add-on you get to go all the way to red rock Canyon and start your maneuvers
This plane pulls 3 to 4 g’seasily and up to seven g’s
He will ask you from 1 to 10 you’re in density and I picked a seven
I was still blown away at seven
Make sure you do eat approximately one hour before but not something heavy
I did vomit when I got back to the hotel but don’t vomit in the plane LOL
Top gun is the best experience but if you have two or three people order the air combat experience an ad on some time
I also purchased the upgraded video

What can I say? one of the best experiences in my life and I am only 60!
Amazing very professional fairly expensive and the video offerings cost a lot but you have to go for it as it is a once in a lifetime deal! Loved it only bit of advice do not go for a Las Vegas breakfast before hand those who did where very sick so I personally choose to give it a miss very wise decision!
Would fully recommend its fast and mad but wonderful! So glad I did it! Go for it truly amazing!

It was so fun. Russ and the entire combat team were so friendly, and went out of their way to help you enjoy the flight. This is definitely worth the money and by far the best ecperience in Vegas.
