I'd love to review the experience, but it never occurred. It was cancelled the first time, at 22:30 the evening before, due to weather. Funny, as the weather in Costa Rica right now is sensational. We rescheduled and I emailed the tour company the day before to confirm it was still on, as we did not want to go through the hassle of getting ready again, and I was told the tour doesn't run on this day. I asked if it would be running at all during the week and was told no. It wasn't cancelled by the company, I had to request a refund. Very poor.

We also remind you that the distances between San Jose and Liberia from Monteverde are more than 3 hours and the weather is changeable and on certain days the rain combined with the poor state of the road makes traveling dangerous and we intend to make our tours safe activitie
