Fernando is so amazing and all of his co-workers are too. I can’t remember all names but they were all happy to make a quick stop at a store to get supplies, etc. and we’re just so friendly and on time. Will definitely use them next year!

The driver of the shuttle...

The driver of the shuttle was driving the vehicle extremely fast and erratic. So much so that he did get pulled over by a police officer we are grateful we had transportation to our hotel, after a plane change, however, it was the longest four hours of our lives. There were many opportunities for hitting people, other cars and other structures in the road, which was quite fearful, and caused a lot of anxiety.

Dear Carey, Thank you for your review and apologies for the inconveniences you may have experienced. As the owner of the company I would like to follow up your case and make sure everyone in your group did took use our services since honestly, in 25 years of doing this we have never had that feedback and after even checking you Arrival Vehicle Speed Records on our GPS Tracker System we didn’t find any moment that the driver was over-speeding or even going at any speed above 85 km/ph. The reason I’m asking you to make sure everyone in the group did use our services is because you had a last minute change that day (due to lots of snow at the US) which made you arrive to a different Costa Rican Airport that was 5 Hrs instead of 1 Hr away from your destination and I can’t see on my records how many people ended up arriving and using our services after the Airport Change. Please be so kind to reach me at operations@transfers506.com I am confident I will be able to provide a resolution, this is what makes us truly different!

Hi Daniel, Thank you for taking the time to express your feedback. We are sorry about the problem with your arrival regarding your request to have a female driver and a Deluxe SUV but we were very clear we would do all we could to complete your request (you booked 16 hours prior arriving) but the driver’s name could change since we have flight delays sometimes making us have to send different 506 drivers/vehicles in order to take all our clients immediately to their hotels. I would also like to point out you also sent us a message the day before arriving Costa Rica asking us to please have a ”quiet and peaceful arrival transfer” so we proceeded to add as a note to the driver to please follow those instructions to avoid any complaints so that was most likely the reason the driver didn’t talked much. This is the BEST way to go. This tour group 506 is the BEST hands down. I travel a lot and this was the best group ever very helpful. They even stopped and got some local fruit for us to taste.

Who wants to drive after a long flight? Sit back and relax with a cold beverage in hand. Driver even stopped along the way to surprise us with some Costa Rican food and had cold water and beer for us.

I feel like I was scammed on this booking. The price sounded good and states clearly “round trip”. It even asked for my departing flight details, so I thought I was getting picked up when my trip was over. Apparently you have to pay for departing shuttle pick up separately. This Definitely was false advertisement.

I will take this opportunity to state our version of what happened since this was 100% your fault and you even sent me the following message after I explained why this wasn't our fault "I am sorry, I was stressed out and didn't read it well when I booked I will try to take the review down' You booked our Transportation Service through Viator/tripadvisor website and sent Arrival + Departure Flight Information even tho you only selected the Arrival instead of Round-Trip Option! We've had thousands of clients booking our products and never had a client who selects and Pays One-Way expecting a Round Trip service!! We are a very professional and serious company and take pride in our good costumer service. There's a lot of people that can assure you that.

Ride was on time and plenty of space for all 8 people and luggage although driver was pulled over and ticketed for expired tags on the way to the airport so we sat in bus and were delayed due to not have current registration.. seems like this should NOT be happening with a transportation company..... come on guys you can do better!

Hi Rachel, As the owner of the company I have personally looked into this matter since I take reviews very seriously and I would like to offer my sincere apologise for the inconvenience but I think it’s important to clear out that the vehicle wasn’t ticketed expired tags since all our fleet is fully insured and they have every permit the government requires as we have for the last 25 years. -Every vehicle that has Tourism Permits in Costa Rica needs to have 2 stickers on the windshield and one of them fell during a car wash! Unfortunately we didn’t notice and the driver got a ticketed for no having it on the windshield but they did checked on their system everything was up to date otherwise they wouldn’t have let him complete the service. We have already taken measures so this is checked daily instead of 3 times per week. I also checked how long the vehicle was pulled over and it was less than 5 minutes, I hope that wasn't a problem to take your departure flight! If you can please be so kind to reach me at operations@transfers506.com with your reservation information to give you Free Transportation + ATV Tour for your next travels to compensate the inconvenience! Our flight was delayed but our driver was aware of it and was there when we landed with cold drinks as promised. He was very friendly and the van was large and air conditioned. Definitely recommend.
