Safe ride to Tamarindo

Our driver was also a tour guide! During our transport from the airport to our hotel, he took us on a scenic route and stopped to show us monkeys in the trees, he pointed out local fruits, flora, and fauna, and he explained the culture and points of interest in the small villages we passed through. He went above and beyond just giving us a ride to our hotel. Five stars!!!

I thought I booked round trip but not sure at this point. I submitted all my itinerary to Costa and back home but so far I haven’t received anything. It did say round trip but not sure right now. Arrival was great the greatest us and had a sign and we came straight to the resort. No problems at all.

Our driver was wonderful! He told us about the area, gave us tips on places to go, gave us information about the country itself, and answered all of our questions! Such a great experience! Driver was great! My issues were that there were no instructions regarding where to meet outside the airport and who to look for. Just 200 people holding up signs. The reservatio link also did not have any of my booking info, flight, arrival time, so I just had to assume the confirmation meant someone would be there to pick me up.

Our trip from the Liberia airport to Tamarindo was excellent. The sign made it easy to find our driver outside the airport. The driver and an assistant handled our bags. We were on our way in just a few minutes. The trip was smooth and comfortable. My wife can get a little motion sickness, so the driver's smooth handling of the van was appreciated. (Don't forget to tip the baggage assistant and the driver.)

I called because I didn’t see our name on a sign but figured this was because our flight arrived about 30 minutes earlier than expected. I was answered right away when I called the number provided. We only waited about 5 minutes for our shuttle van to arrive from there. Our driver was very nice and offered us refreshments. AC was great. Great experience and would highly recommend.
