We pick up from hotels and hostels located in Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro and some in Lima downtown.
Please don’t be late, as bus must leave on time to do Ballestas Islands at 10:00 am.
Near public transportation
Bring sunscreen, it is hot all year round in Paracas and Huacachina.
Food is not included, although we have discounts in many restaurants.
Infants must sit on laps

Important holidays: Easter weekend April 06-09 and July 28-30 is Independence Day Celebration in Peru: The pick-up time will be 1 hour before the usual time, Sandboarding/dunebuggy (Huacachina) only 1 hour (all operators) and Ballestas Islands (Paracas) only 1 hour and 30 minutes (all operators)
Warm weather all year round. Light-weight jumper/jacket for speedboat ride to Ballestas. Closed-toe footwear for Sandboarding.

Huacachina Oasis is so dope

the first half of the trip - Galápagos Islands and lunch were nothing to write home about. The lunch was probably the worst tasting food we had in Peru, but the tour guide said she spoke with the restaurant owner and would take care of the situation. Huacachina the oasis, dune buggies, and sand boarding were extremely fun and worth it! They definitely made the trip memorable, and all the people were super nice and helpful. When you stop at the Oasis, Carola Lodge has the BEST wings my friend and I have ever tried 12/10 recommend.

This was an amazing experience. I’ve always wanted to visit a desert oasis and do all the activities that come with it. This is almost 4 hours from Lima but they picked us up and a charter bus transported us. The bus was very nice, spacious and air conditioned. First you go on the boat. It’s a little underwhelming but still a good experience. The main attraction (to me) is Huacachina where you’ll sand board and buggy. Our guides were amazing and stick with you the entire day so please tip if you can! I’m so happy I chose this company, it really made my experience wonderful.

Too long and awful guide did not help when getting sick

First of all the tour is too long. This should be two separate tours. And most importantly, the tour guide Diego was awful. My sister got sick on the way back and endured the 4-hr long drive throwing up. When we were getting closer to the city I told Diego and the driver about the situation and asked to see if we could be dropped first since she was so sick. They completely ignored us and then made all the people going to Miraflores (which was so close at this point) to get down from the bus to take another bus. Thankfully the other driver heard our pleas and took us first to our hotel (not third like it was scheduled to be). Until this day I haven’t heard from them. They simply didn’t care and that’s awful. The stop in Paracas was ok, the stop in Huacachina was super fun but also really scary. Be aware that the drive in the sand dunes is not for the faint of heart. I would not use this agency ever again since our experience getting sick and not being treated with consideration was unacceptable.

I'd trust peru hop with my new born child. This is a company who cares. My tour guide, "Ricardo," was extremely kind, accomodating, but most importantly, organized. He greeted me at the pickup location with a clipboard, and made sure everyone was accounted for throughout the day. Every activity was executed as described, the bus is clean, large, and includes a bathroom. I'm extremely happy that I chose Peru Hop to show me whats fun to do in Paracas and Huacachina

This is 1000% worth the money, my friends and I signed up for this and had doubts as it is over a $100 per peron but wow, what an amazing trip this was, we couldn't believe how much fun dune buggy around the sand dune was and how amazing sandboarding is! THIS IS A MUST! If you can stay in Huacachina overnight I'd 100% do it!

We had a great time! The highlight was riding in the sand buggies and sand surfing. The driver of the sand biggie gave us a great thrill spiraling down the sand dunes. That was great fun. I would have liked more time in Huacachino town and less time in Paracas. Overall the trip was great!

Sand boarding was quite interesting! Also enjoyed seeing the sea lions in the morning. Lunch was somewhat underwhelming for me (I wish I ordered the fresh ceviche rather than the fried fish one), but overall a very good experience! The walk back from sand boarding back to the restaurant was pleasant: local shops alongside the street was fun to look at. I personally really liked our guide Aymet: cheerful and adorable :) Sand buggy was fun but too big a bump can be potentially dangerous to the spine. Be careful.

This was a very long day - yes, Huacachina and Paracas are about four hours away from Lima, but there's still no reason for the tour to be so long. Huacachina is the real draw card here - Paracas is, at best, average. They should offer a version of this tour that just goes to Huacachina.

A very nice (though Long trip.. left hotel 5:50 am and back 11:30 pm).. but it's a nice trip.. for me the main attraction was Huacachina.. it's really nice.. the best part are the san dunes and Buggy ride.. a must.. specially if you are a thrill seaker.. Our guide Ricardo was more than amazing..

Get ready for a SUPER long day! But it was worth it. The boat cruise was cute and you definitely see quite a bit of wildlife once you get out to the islands. But the dune buggy tour was amazing! They drive super fast and give you quite a thrill! Sand boarding is actually sand sledding on your belly, unless you go rent a snowboard , so be prepared to pay extra if you want to actually sandboard. Our guide , Sol, was very informative and helpful every step of the way.
