Great tour in Dickens world

Richard was a great guide and I learned about the great City of London Dickens sites, with an emphasis on “ A Christmas Carol” for the Holidays! This is an excellent Experience with plenty of walking. We visited a few Pubs as well, all part of the Dickens education. Cheers Richard, from Los Angeles!

Reliving old London!

Richard took us from modern London to old London in an exciting journey recounting not just the story of A Christmas Carol but many of the characters throughout Dickens’ works and many of the real figures that inspired them. It enhanced our appreciation of the city and its rich history. We would highly recommend not just this tour, but Richard in general for any tours that he’s leading.

As we set out, we laughingly warned Richard, our guide, we were true Dickens’s nerds…and boy did he not disappoint! Not only did we see actual locations that inspired Dicken’s writing, but we learned a lot about the man himself. Richard, a natural storyteller, made this one of the highlights of our trip!
