What To Expect

Your walking tour starts at the Southwark viewpoint, by Southwark Cathedral, to meet your guide and be sorted into your Hogwarts house.

Then set off on your journey around town, enjoying Harry Potter trivia quizzes from your guide along the way to earn points for your house. With an animated scoreboard, video clips of movie scenes, costume pieces, and reenactments, this is an interactive experience that allows you to live out your Harry Potter dreams in London. You also have the chance to use your spell knowledge to outwit members of other houses.

During your walking tour, pass by filming locations such as the entrance to Diagon Alley, the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron, and the bridge that was destroyed in 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.' Walk along Charing Cross Road to follow in the footsteps of Deatheaters, visit the inspiration for Knocturn Alley, and see the location of the Ministry of Magic. Walk through Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, past St. Paul's Cathedral, and along the Thames, and see the Borough Market and London Bridge. Your tour ends at Palace Theatre, where the Cursed Child is Playing.

It is recommended that you wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.

Must do for the Harry Potter fan! We were able to book for the tour in the morning, and ended the tour at the Palace Theatre just in time to grab lunch before our 2pm showing. Luke was fantastic! It was a perfect mix of Londons history, mixed in with failing sites, as well as trivia. Would def do again.

Excellent tour! We got to see a bit of London and have a fun learning experience as Harry Potter fans. Our guide, Jack, was very engaging and knowledgeable as he took us to various filming locations and places J.K. Rowling herself visited for inspiration. Would definitely recommend!

Potter Fan MUST DO!

Donatella, our guide, was spectacular! She was funny and really knew her facts about Harry Potter and London! In the beginning we were all sorted into a house and would answer trivia questions throughout the tour to redeem points for your house. I was sorted into Slytherin and with no surprise Gryffindor won the cup at the end of the tour. Although, Donatella did say we are all winners here haha Due to the heavy amount of foot traffic in the tube, we had to take the boat to get around. I loveddddd that too! Not a cloud in the sky and we watched the sunset as we headed over to visit more HP filming sights. Would definitely recommend this tour if you’re a potter nerd like me.

Disappointing

Meeting point was under construction and we could not find guide. Told to try second place and still no guide to be found. Communication was slow and then cut off completely. Very disappointing.

It was really hard to hear the guide given all of the traffic. Also, difficult to see the ipad with videos from the movies in the sunlight. Overall it was a bit disappointing. I don't recall seeing when I booked that we needed to get on a tube but I may have missed it.

Fun walking tour

Amazing guide, he had so much enthusiasm and brought the stories to life! The kids had a lot of fun. Be prepared to walk for a few hours! Avoid peak hours if you can to avoid the crowd.
