Ian was a fantastic, funny and knowledgable guide. He made it a brilliant experience! The whole journey was comfortable and informative.

Really enjoyed our guide Ian. He was entertaining & informative. He asked questions and remembered things that we said we liked. I was impressed that he remembered things and would mention them during our tour. We did both morning & afternoon. Saw different sights and the group was small enough we had personal attention.
Great overall experience

The Abbey Road crossing was most memorable for us. The day with our guide Ian was incredibly informative and entertaining. He went above and beyond in making our experience intimate and enjoyable. Five stars for Ian!
Singing the blues!

We could not get to tour meeting spot bcuz the bus route was closed down due to road race. Called to explain and they would not refund our money. Very disappointed they would not work with us. Should have been made aware of public transportation being shut down.
Overall great highlight music spots
Danelia_A, Aug 2023
Enjoyed the different highlights and stopping at a local record shop. Wish we would have made it to Camden but I could see it would be difficult with traffic.
Great tour!

Awesome Tour
Laurie_B, July 2023
Ian was delightful and so knowledgeable on not only the rock and roll scene but the entire town of London. Will definitely book again and highly recommend.
Great Rock tour for music fans
Prudy_M, July 2023
Best tour ever. The tour operator was so knowledgeable and interesting. Showed us all the great British rock sights. Loved Albert Hall.
Great dissappointment but cool sights
Mary_B, July 2023
We loved our tour guide and seeing Abbey Road and the Abbey Studios was great. Our tour guide was fantastic. However, we were never able to get off the bus and explore. Our bus literally drove past everything as our tour guide pointed out, "here is where John had his first drink. Here is the Royal Albert Hall", etc. We were greatly disappointed as the description stated we would be able to hop off the bus and look at things. Our bus couldn't even fit through some of the alley ways. I felt for the money, we could have gotten more if we had done a Hop on Hop Off bus.
Not quite what we expected, but still a fun morning.
Sharon_H, July 2023
Our guide, Ian was good…fun and knowledgeable. There was lots of driving with just a couple of stops. Guide focused on just a few bands(stopping and pointing out sites of interest)…but he was also busy safely driving us through London.
Amazing tour!
Camryn_J, July 2023
Amazing tour! Learned so much history that we wouldn’t have known if we didn’t attend the tour! Loved our guide too!
DO NOT BOOK: They do not care about their customers, regardless of the circumstances.
Christian_A, June 2023
DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR. VIATOR USES "ACCESS ALL AREAS TOURS" for their services. Book any tour via VIATOR, that does not use ACCESS ALL AREAS Tours as a guide. First of all, I would like to thank VIATOR for mediating the situation between ACCESS ALL AREAS Tours. VIATOR as a service, has been professional and helpful. ACCESS ALL AREAS Tour is a horrible, unprofessional, unreasonable company. Now allow me to explain. Please view documented pictures to ensure the veracity of my claim. On Sunday, June 18, 2023 (Father's Day), my group of six attended the LONDON ROCK MUSIC FULL-DAY TOUR. This consisted of 9 am - 12 pm (3 hrs) morning tour and a 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm (3 hrs) afternoon tour. The tour began at 9 am sharp, with Ian as our friendly knowledgeable tour guide. The tour consisted of approx. 12 people. Our tour experience was very positive. At about 10:30 am, Ian provided us with a 15 min coffee/ restroom break, before we drove to ABBY Road to conclude our morning tour. While at ABBY Road, our tour bus experienced mechanical problems; the bus would not start. One of the passengers assisted Ian in checking the engine and battery connections to ensure that everything was properly connected. Ian contacted the office and instead of sending a new tour bus, they sent someone with jumper cables, hoping that it would solve the problem. If you google map ABBY Road, you will see that ABBY Road Studios is in a residential area. No resturants, or stores to purchase snacks or a bit to eat. We were stuck at ABBY Road for an additional time of 45 mins, approx. We finally returned to our pickup location at 1:20 pm, 10 mins before our the next half of our full day tour experience began. We lost our 1 1/2 hr break time, before the afternoon tour due to the mechanical problem. My group had not had the opportunity to have breakfast and were counting to use our 1 1/2 hr break to get brunch before the next half of the tour begins @ 1:30 pm. I asked Ian, the tour guide, what the process was for getting a refunded for the next half of the tour. He stated that he was the driver and that I needed to contact the company. I explained to him that our group was hungry and that we were concerned about the bus situation. Ian, politely appolgized, and stated that we would one again be stopping for another 15 min break, where we would be able to get a bit to eat. I thanked him and informed him that we needed a meal and I that I would contact the company to request a refund. The photos upload are out of order, allow me to put them in context. For a full day tour the cost was $ 789.12 MY REFUND REQUEST WAS $394.56, half of cost. I was not requesting a full refund. I understand that we did half of the tour and I also understand that the mechanical problem is out of everyone's control. Things happen. The original response I received was No refunded due the 24 hour cancellation policy not being met. I resubmitted my request (see pic: The purpose for...) Charmaine, Viator Rep, assisted me and sent my request to "ACCESS ALL AREAS TOURS". Days later I received a denial email. Yesterday June 29, 2023, I called Viator and spoke to a representive who listened and contacted "ACCESS ALL AREAS TOURS", who suggested that he submit another refund request. This morning, June 30, 2023 I, once again, received a denial email and final decision. PLEASE BEWARE of booking a tour with "ACCESS ALL AREAS TOURS". They do not care about their customers, regardless of the circumstances. I do not believe that my request was unreasonable. Bus breaks down and is unreliable. Passengers are nervous of future break down and hungry. Company states, "we are offered 3 opportunities for refreshments/food during the tour." 1st opportunity, morning tour 15mins - NO SHORT BREAK (due to bus breakdown). 2nd opportunity - NONE since we did not participate. Therefore, asking for a refund for the second half of the tour seems only fair. Thank you for your time. AGAIN make sure you DO NOT BOOK A TOUR WITH "ACCESS ALL AREAS TOURS".
Response from Host, July 2023
Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We do indeed care quite a lot about our customers. Your information is not correct, the morning tour is scheduled 09:00-12:30 and the afternoon tour 13:30 – 17:00. Guests on the full day tour usually have an hour/45 minutes between tours for an independent lunch break. Tours are typically at Abbey Road crossing for 15/20 minutes. The tour meeting instructions point out Tesco Express, Costa and Pret, all within a 5 minutes walk of the tour meeting point, en-route from Piccadilly Circus. Many guests stop in these places en-route to the meeting point. Both Costa and Pret are opened from 07:30 on Sundays. This particular guide incorporates a coffee break in the morning, so 10/15 minutes circa 10:15/10:30 you again had opportunity for toilets, to buy food/drinks. Your specific departure did indeed unfortunately have a vehicle battery issue, which meant you were an additional 20 minutes off the coach at Abbey Road. There is a shop as well as the photo ops there to occupy the extra time. Once the vehicle had been sorted, your tour guide had a choice of either cutting the tour short by 20 minutes or to continue with a late finish. He chose to not cut the tour short for the benefit of all guests. The guide report says morning tour finished 13:10-ish, so including the 10 minutes grace period we wait for latecomers, meaning afternoon starting 13:40, that meant you should have had about 25 minutes for a lunch break between tour segments. End of morning tour, your guide spoke with you and pointed out Pret, basically across the road from the meeting point, advising you could eat your food on the vehicle (something normally discouraged.) 20/25 minutes is ample time to use the facilities and buy sandwiches/drinks at Pret, or Costa. I grant you, 25 minutes is not enough time for a sit down restaurant lunch, but that is not an option in any case on a touring day. The battery issue and 20 minutes delay, while not ideal, did not impact your choice to not eat breakfast and it did not impact your choice to leave for a leisurely sit down restaurant lunch over buying sandwiches at Pret (or Costa) and joining the afternoon portion of the tour as scheduled. Therefore, we did not grant your request for a refund in this case. Thank you for your understanding. Best Regards, Kate

Ian told us to make sure that we gave him a 5 star evaluation. Kidding aside, it was a great trip. Would definitely recommend the trip.
Great tour of London’s rock and roll history
Robert_S, June 2023
Marc was a great tour guide. He had an obvious love of rock music and was very knowledgeable about the rock-related sites on our tour. He was also friendly with a good sense of humour. The combination of walking tour and comfortable coach ride was a great way for a rock music fan to spend a day in London.
Just okay
Russ_P, June 2023
Ian was great, but it's a very Boomer-centric tour that focuses mainly on 60s British Invasion musicians and bands. The stop at the tiny record store was not necessary. We were probably the youngest folks on the tour by a good 20 years. Again, our guide Ian was great, very nice and knowledgeable.
Waste of 3 hours!
Deanna_O, May 2023
Honestly our guide wasn’t on his game. He repeated himself a minimum of 3 times for everything he said. When we went to make a “bathroom” stop about halfway through, we weren’t allowed to go in. Obviously made us think he just decided to stop at some random place for some reason. Unless you knew the managers of bands and there record labels this tour had us at a loss. Drive by “expensive” hotels and say this person or that person stayed there. Well I could have assumed that on my own. Literally the only place we stopped in 3 hours was Abbey Road. Would not recommend.
