Fun and worthwhile!
calicurti, Oct 2023
Joe was our guide and he was amazing!! I don’t think the tour would have been as great with a different guide. He was energetic, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, authentically British, and fun. I went on this tour with my dad and we both loved it! We only had two full days in London and both agreed it was smart to do a guided tour to make the most of our time. (To see the top sights ourselves, we would have had to put in hours and hours of research ahead of time.) We are so glad we did this! It was fun, fast-paced, and filled with historical facts. The first portion of this tour was especially awesome because we stopped in multiple key areas to properly watch the changing of the guards - something that an average tourist would likely struggle to know how to execute well. We spent a majority of our time in the Westminster area, seeing many historic sights, especially relating to the royals. Then we took the tube/train to the City of London to view the finance buildings, bridges, St Paul’s Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe, and ended in Borough Market. Overall, the route was a great taste of London, especially for my first visit. A few things to note: Finding our group was a little confusing. There were multiple tours at the same time and one of the guides was responsible for putting people into their pre-assigned groups. The printed list only had first names on it, so I gave him my first name and he told me where my group was standing. Around 10 minutes later, a woman with the same name as me came to my group and we were confused who actually belonged to the group. It turned out she was supposed to be in another group! Good thing I spoke up! Also, my group contained two groups- those who booked this tour and those who booked a 2-3 hour walking tour to just see the changing of the guards and the Westminster area. Those people ended their tour after the changing of the guards, and the remaining people stayed on. Bathroom breaks: There were a couple opportunities throughout to take a bathroom break. Food: We stopped quickly at a little stand in St. James’s Park that had bottled water/drinks, coffee, sandwiches, pastries. This was around 12:15pm. Make sure you get something because this is your only chance to eat lunch! My dad and I split a sandwich and a pastry. There’s also food at the end of the tour, at Borough Market. Our tour ended promptly at 3:00pm so if you skip that lunch opportunity, you have to wait until 3! Don’t hesitate to book this tour. Super fun and worthwhile!
Be aware that this is a walking tour
Danh_H, Sept 2023
I do nó know when booking that this is a walking tour for 3 to 5 hours. It’s not good for me since I have problems with walking long distance (knees problems) just for a short distance the group was far ahead of us. So we have to drop the tour. Hope that Viator review the situation and make sure to indicate “walking tour” very clearly
Response from Host, Sept 2023
Hi Danh Sorry to read the above. Always happy to refund those that do not read the tour description properly (1st paragraph on the tour page on Viator / Trip Advisor clearly states it is a walking tour) Please contact us and we will arrange this for you
Great way to start your visit.

Nathanial was a wonderful tour guide! Friendly and with incredible knowledge on the history of the area. Highly recommend this tour.
Must do tour in London.
Gustavo_G, Sept 2023
Brandon is an excellent tour guide. He went to great lengths to make this an outstanding tour. It also helps that he is an American and knows our areas of interest as well as our misconceptions about the nobility and Britain, in general. We highly recommend this tour as you go home with the feeling you have seen most places of interest in London.

Excellent tour!
Kelly_L, Aug 2023
This was a five hour walking tour that covers all the major sites. Saw the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace!! Nathaniel was an excellent knowledgeable guide! Wear good walking shoes and take a raincoat!
Our guide Nicholas was THE MAN!
adalberto_r, Aug 2023
I was on the fence about doing this type of activities but if you are new to London is really the way to go. We missed our first tour by a few mins and they rescheduled for us with no issues(some other companies would try to just take your money and walk away this guys didn't) . I never write reviews but my wife and I had such a good time with our guide Nicholas that I force myselft to do it. This guy was a true entertainer, you can tell that he loves his job and by the end we felt like locals. We got to see all the big sights and again Nicholas was patient, professional and legitimately funny ! He made us feel welcomed to his city. I would recommend anyone to do this tour if you want to see all the sights in London in a day and leave with ideas of what else to do while in town.
Conner was the best!
Brooke_R, Aug 2023
Conner was amazing! He answered every question that we asked and if there was something we didn’t know he would look it up. Especially loved the corny jokes (even if it took a minute for us to get it)
Amazing city tour
Andie_M, Aug 2023
We were of group of only 9 people. Ashley gave us a terrific tour of the city! Having a local show us around definitely gave us an insight in the city wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. Would definitely recommend!
Nathaniel the guide of London
Michael_G, Aug 2023
We loved it all! Nathaniel was a great guide, personable, knowledgeable and of course polite. It was a comprehensive review of British history starting from it’s Roman origins to present and touching on broad topics as the brothels and dungeons of the banks of the river Thames to the pageantry and chicanery of the royal palaces and its various occupants (kings and queens). It kept our 16 year old teenager entertained and grateful. Thank you again Nathaniel. Good Job!!
Very informative and fun

Benedict was a great tour guide. We enjoyed every minute of this tour. Our only regret was that it was only 5 hours!
If you are short on time it’s amazing. If you have a lot of time it is even better because it gives you information and
Bridget_M, Aug 2023
There wasn’t a favorite because as a first time excursion everything was of interest our guide Ashley explained everything and held the audiences attention

The history given by Will, also being able to see a lot in 5 hours. I found the walking tour very helpful in getting my bearings in London to be able to explore later myself.

I booked this walking tour for my 70-year old mother who was traveling solo. She shared this was a highlight of her trip. She wanted me to rave about her tour guide but unfortunately I forgot the name, so whoever was leading the tour on August 1 at 1pm, thank you.
Great tour!
Mark_W, Aug 2023
Our guide, Will, was exceptional. Fun, knowledgeable. Great tour. Would recommend to others In a heartbeat.
Best walking tour ever !!
Pearl_M, Aug 2023
Thoroughly enjoyed our 5hr walking tour — Kate was terrific — very informative, great insights into past history and current events. Covered many locations in a timely manner which we gracefully appreciated — provided a solid foundation on London’s core areas
Awesome
Sheila_G, Aug 2023
Our guide, Ashley was the best!! He was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. A definite must do! We didn’t have much time, but this tour hit the high points.
Nathaniel = God Tier Tour Guide
MelRawal, Aug 2023
Nathaniel is an excellent tour guide. He really knows his stuff and affords you the rare opportunity to interact with a London-native.
Great walking tour with a great guide
David_D, Aug 2023
We were lucky twice ! Firstl, it was not a rainy day and secondly, we got a great guide! He was very nice, professional and provide us a lot of good stories about all the must-see spots in Westminster and London city areas. We took the 5 hour walking tour option ( be in shape! :) ) There is also a 3 hours walking tour option that ends a Westminster cathedral.
Rainy weather hindered enjoyment
Marit_F, Aug 2023
Unfortunately, the rainy weather hindered my enjoyment of the tour. It was good to visit sites covering a large area.
Response from Host, Aug 2023
Nothing like giving my company a 3* review because of the UK rain. Thanks
