What To Expect

Depart central London by air-conditioned coach and venture into the English countryside. As you travel, hear interesting facts about the region and your first destination — the prehistoric monument of Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain.

On arrival, enjoy time to explore this atmospheric site at leisure. Head inside, collect an informative audio guide, and ride the shuttle or follow the pathways to the UNESCO-listed stones that date back some 4,500 years.

Marvel at the gigantic stones and ponder how they were transported and raised here. Then, learn how and why Stonehenge was built — most scholars believe it formed a temple aligned to the sun — through the archaeological exhibitions and audiovisual experiences at the visitor center.
Next, continue west to the 18th-century city of Bath. All honey-stoned townhouses, terraces and bridges, this UNESCO-listed city is one of England’s crowning glories.

Enjoy the afternoon to explore this delightful city independently. Perhaps delve into the handsome streets to admire the Georgian architecture, seeing top Bath attractions such the Royal Crescent, Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge that spans the Avon River.

Alternatively, upgrade to visit the Roman Baths, one of the world’s best-preserved sets of Roman remains. Explore the Great Bath and museum, and discover how the Romans built and expanded the complex over Baths’ natural springs from the 1st century AD.

Or, perhaps upgrade to visit the Jane Austen Visitor Centre. The much-loved English novelist lived in Bath in the early 1800s, and this fascinating museum chronicles her life and works through documents, artifacts and interactive experiences.

Lastly, return to London, where your tour ends with a drop-off near Victoria rail station.

This was an unbelievable experience! Our guide, Sou Sou is five star fabulous!!! He went above and beyond to give us history of London and many of the villages on the way to and from each site. He was entertaining, extremely knowledgeable, and overall had big heart! He wanted to make sure that everybody was happy, comfortable. I asked him if I could go off of the beaten path, to see a specific museum, the Jane Austen house, and not only did she tell me where it was, she walked me there. If you take this tour, try to get him, as he truly is the best! He took time to make sure that everybody knew exactly where we were going, where we needed to be at each time, and that we were all safe and comfortable. I Stonehenge was incredible, I loved how they have it roped off, so when you take a picture, it looks like nobody is there. Beth was incredible, such a beautiful city. Definitely touristy on the weekends, but even so, I still had a wonderful time. I can’t emphasize how much Sou Sou (sp) made the trip AMAZING by Sharing so much knowledge about London, the monarchy, and insight/trivia that Made the whole trip incredibly engaging. He should be the model for all other guides! Having an amazing twerk guide is just as important as visiting the sites. I highly recommend this trip!

Magnus was an excellent tour guide. My friends and I had a wonderful day. There was also a very cute paddock of cows at Stonehenge that added bonus points for sure.

No time in Bath
Marie_L, June 2023
We booked this tour hoping to have time to enjoy Bath. Unfortunately, our stay in Bath consisted of our guide speaking for over 30 minutes, followed by 1 hour of free time, rushing back for our entry ticket to the Roman Baths, followed by another 1 hour of free time (needed to get some food). Very scattered and poorly planned as it did not give us time to truly explore Bath. Our guide was overly talkative and tangential. And beware, It ended up lasting a total of 11 hours :(
Need more time

Need some more time at Stonehenge as the we have to wait for shuttle for at least 20 minutes. The tour gives only 1 and half hours for this
Incredible experience!

Bath is a must see!
TAMARA_A, June 2023
Loved the Roman Baths! We selected this tour because we wanted to spend a lot of time in Bath. . While we had enough time technically, our entrance time to the Roman baths was right in the middle of our three hours of time. Unfortunately, we were not able to visit the Jane Austen centre as we had hoped because we neither had enough time on either side of our Roman Bath entry time. Would have preferred to have our entrance time B as soon as we arrived in bath or in an hour and a half before we had to leave.

Excellent trip to both location. Stonehenge is a formation worth seeing. Bath was more informative and interesting. We had lunch in the town and then visited the baths. You won't see something like that elsewhere. Enjoyed it. Location is easy to find and get to. The drop off at Gloucester station is also ideal
Great trip

Loved the tour and the wonderful guide. It was like touring with Charles Dickens. Stonehenge was okay but Bath was truly beautiful.
Stonehenge and Bath

Our Bath and Stonehenge tour was very enjoyable. Nicholas, our guide, was humorous and knowledgable. Ricardo, the driver, was very professional and helpful. We could not find our way back to the bus after touring the Roman Bath. Ricardo was driving around and saw us walking; he pointed us to the right direction to board the bus.
