Our guide Marc made our experience so much richer as he explained in great detail what we were about to see and what we were seeing in the moment! A great storyteller - we learned so much about the rulers of that period, and learned about the fate of those who were imprisoned and died at the tower. Highlights included seeing the opening ceremonies, being first in line to see the amazing Crown Jewels ,talking with the Beefeaters ,watching the guards march, and of course, watching and listening to the ravens!!! We also got to tour the Tower Bridge and walk across the glass walkway high above the Thames!! One of the absolute favorite tours of our trip!! Thank you Marc!!

The Tower and Crown Jewel Exhibit are not to be missed. The history of this place is extraordinary and any British history you've read happened here. Our guide was very knowledgeable and covered the entire site extensively. We did the early entrance, so beating the crowds is highly advisable. A couple of recs. Heed the warning for sensible shoes. Bring layers. There's a chill wind off the Thames at 8:00 am and you spend quite awhile outside. Also, at 73, I am experiencing hearing issues. Our guide's voice was not loud and I had difficulty hearing her much of the time. Finally, pay attention! Our guide allowed us an hour to explore on our own and I didn't pay close attention to meetup site. When we came out of the White Tower, the crowds very big. We lost our group. This only caused us to miss the Bridge Tower which was fine. We walked over to the south shore of the Thames and had a lovely stroll up the Queens Walk there. This mixup was my fault and I called the Tour Co to apologize.

We loved this tour! We felt it was absolutely worth the money spent, and getting up early to catch the train into London. My first time visiting the UK, so seeing the Opening Ceremony was cool to see and experience. Our tour guide John was fabulous - very knowledgeable and funny at the same time! A bit disappointed that we weren't able to see the full crown jewels exhibit given the upcoming Coronation, but that was just the luck of timing for us ... that just means that we now have to watch the Coronation from back home in Canada to see that items that were not present!! Great tour overall ... thank you!

A lot of history to see … not to good start
