Find your way to Westminster Pier to board your 1-hour circle cruise. Cruises depart every 30 minutes from 11am to 6pm.

Find yourself a comfortable seat on the open top deck of the modern vessels Mercuria or Sapele; the traditional Sarah Kathleen has a fully open deck. Purchase light refreshments from the snack bar.

As you cruise up central London's River Thames, listen to your captain's live audio commentary about the landmarks you pass. Choose to disembark to explore further at Embankment Pier, Festival Pier, Bankside Pier and St Katharine’s Pier. The ship returns nonstop to Westminster.

Sail past some of London's most important landmarks such as the Tower of London, the Globe Theatre, the National Theatre, The Shard, the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament.

Day views was not exciting enough, I expected more impressions, it was very clowdy and cold. So, better view is in sunny day or night lights cruise.

Scammed and No Cruise Provided

I think we were ripped off or scammed. We followed the instructions and followed the verbal instructions by the ticket booth agent as well and no boat showed up. The only boat that did was a river commuter vessel, that was no charge or guided tour and was not a part of Viator's partner and we did not get our cruise. Felt scammed and taken advantage of.

The attendants at the area we boarded had no idea which boat we should be on, luckily no one really checked the tickets as we boarded. Staff on the boat were very good. Commentary was amusing

The most memorable part was arriving to find the place shut, with no staff present to explain why our tour, which was fully paid for, was cancelled? 3 kids in tow... all excited only to be told by a guy standing there representing another tour operator that was open, that ours was cancelled due to fog. "What fog my 11 year old asked?" To which they guy himself laughed. Perhaps his section of the river didn't have fog??! An attempt to call Viator and no answer. 2 emails sent and no reply? Just under 100euro paid for this Thames Cruise and we didn't even get to go on it ... or be contacted to tell us it was why it wascancelled? Nothing. Nowt. Nada. Zilch.
