Disappointing. Rushed.

It was a nice day to be there. Weather was perfect, but we had to rush through to get back to our coach (back to London) before being left behind. Half day was not enough time to enjoy the castle , let alone castle and village of Windsor. Plan a full day here on your own instead. Disappointed in this experience.

Easy, Smooth, Informative Trip

This experience was smooth and enjoyable. We took the morning trip and still had the second half of the day to explore London. The bus was present when we arrived at the provided pick-up spot. The link to and from were smooth and quick (no more than 30 minutes). We have enough time (about 2.5 hours) to explore the castle and the nearby town of Windsor. Beatrice, our tour guide, was very informative and helpful throughout our trip. I highly suggest to anyone looking for an easy trip during their time in London.

The amount of time allotted for the tour is vastly insufficient for the location. The directions to the bus stop were not good. We didn’t come back on the coach. We would not have been able to see anything.

Fantastic day trip to an incredible castle and town

GREAT day trip - the Tour Guide Richard was fantastic, as was the driver. The drive out to Windsor he provided great informative commentary on local sites and history. The walk to the castle is short from where the bus drops you off. After we toured the castle at our own pace we had a great lunch at one of the local pubs. HIGHLY recommend this tour.

Quaint trio to Windsor

Eva and Mark were friendly, knowledgeable and funny. They had great stories as we drove back and forth to Windsor. Eva walked us to the entrance to get our tickets and showed us where they would be waiting after. They answered all the questions and were very accommodating. The bus was very nice, comfortable and had good A/C for the hot day.

Perfect Half Day Trip

Perfect half day trip. Got to see everything at Windsor Castle; toured the town of Windsor and had time for lunch at a local restaurant. We were back in Central London by 2PM for additional sight-seeing. Richard (docent) and Errol (driver) were very professional and provided commentary the entire trip. The bus was new and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

A Disappointing Experience

This trip was not worth the money. The trip was overbooked. We had to wait about 25-30 minutes for a second bus to arrive. No information was given by the tour manager. We stood in line and blocked the sidewalk for those trying to passby. When we arrived at the castle little infotmation was given. We did a self guided tour woth an audio box. This was truly a disappointing experience.

Windsor is too much for a half-day tour. We arrived at about 10:30 and were required to be back at the tour bus at 13:30. Highly recommend you do a full day tour if you want to go.
