    This was the perfect way to see this beautiful area of France with plenty of time to explore. Marlon was the perfect driver and host. Cassis was definitely the highlight and we even enjoyed a bottle of the local wine at lunch. We only had the day in port and this was the perfect way to take in the sites in our own personalized van for the 7 of us. AMAZING and can’t wait to go back!!!! Thank you Marlon for an amazing day!!!!

    An Amazing Tour with A Wonderful Guide

    Our guide, Chris, provided us with great consideration and kindness while he led us on a well-planned tour of the most beautiful spots in and outside of Marseille. The day was one seamless delight after another from a beautiful patisserie, to the old village market, amazing viewpoints, Cassis, the Calanques and the Cathedral. As this is his hometown, Chris generously shared a plethora of interesting facts and information about the area in his easy-to-understand English. The ride was comfortable, clean and all of our needs were easily met. Bravo!

    A taste of little and big cities, a blend of quiet and bustling places

    This tour is perfect if you'd like to see key sights without a lot of walking and want to hit 3 great spots in the south of France on a comfortable luxury car drive. We were a group of 3 friends and we got a great blend of sights and experiences, some of which included -- a little market in Aix en Provence, the breath-taking cliff of Cassis, the waterside boats in Marseille and a bouillabaise lunch. Sylvie, our guide told us other stories on the road that added color to what we already read in travel books.

    Our guide personalized this tour to our wishes since we had such a small group. He allowed us additional time in Aix en Provence because we were enjoying ourselves so much. He even purchased each of us a treat in a local bakery and had several recommendations for lunch depending on our preferences.     Great shore excursion of three regional highlights!

    We knew we wanted to see Aix-en-Provence, Cassis, and Marseille during our time in port, but it was difficult to find excursions (through the ship or independently) that provided all three. This one fit the bill! Posted this excursion on our CruiseCritic roll call and filled a private group of 7 quickly. Romain worked with us to change the time to suit our ship. Although he had a family situation arise, he arranged for his colleague, Benjamin, to escort us. Benjamin was gracious, patient, and informative throughout the day. We really appreciated his extensive walking tour in Aix-en-Provence, the orientation in Cassis, and the orientation to the Marseille cathedral. We also liked the balance of structured, guided time and the opportunity for free time. We were disappointed to not see the calanques or Cape Canaille, but the road was closed - not Benjamin's fault. Thanks for a great experience! Would definitely recommend.

    Our guide, Romain, was very personable and informative. The group was a nice small size of about 15 which is perfect. We rode on a small tour bus - it had decorations over some of the windows which was not the best, but we sat in the back with the clear window. It was air conditioned and comfortable. He gave us free time here and there which was great, the market in Aix was awesome, I wish we had more time in it. The only thing that was disappointing was that we didn't get to go on the boat tour in Cassis that I had read about in other tours, but that's my fault for not noticing it wasn't on the stop. All in all I would recommend it. I was worried since there were no reviews, but it was great.
