A great way to see the western side of the island

They (I believe his name was Mike) gave us a great description of how the bikes worked and excellent advice of where to ride and visit. We also got a wise recommendation to practice with the bike a little before taking off, which helped a lot. Being able to go at our own pace and stop whenever we wanted worked really well. You can go as far as you want or adjust the route down to suit your ability and timing. A great experience that we would do again on our next visit.
Great bikes, just know you are riding these on a regular highway, not a trail! Was not comfortable doing that.

Great bikes and was excited to rent them for this self-guided tour, read wonderful reviews prior to purchasing to do this for a day while visiting Maui. However, my daughter and I did not feel comfortable riding the bikes on the highway to go to the provided listing of the places. I was under the impression that we would be on a trail to go on these places. So beware prospective people who are looking to book this, know that you will be on a busy highway with cars that are driving pretty fast even though there is a bike lane. And for newbies who aren't regular bike riders, this is unnerving and it didn't sit right with me and I was not comfortable taking the bike out on a regular highway. So we made the best in this situation that we could that morning, we rode the bike around on Front St (trying to get comfortable with riding it and in the end we just couldn't find the courage to do it) and went to Mala's for breakfast and took the bikes back to the shop. Better safe than sorry is my motto. Always trust your gut. The guys were great though and thorough with the entire process, from getting the snorkeling gear/fins (the guy in that shop was really sweet) to getting the bikes and getting good instructions on how the bikes work etc.

I was pumped for this since the moment I booked it, and it did not disappoint! He set us up with properly fitting equipment, gave us the run down and went over the map in detail with us. We made all the stops along the way, and got to explore areas we didn’t know about. I would highly recommend this adventure to anybody, total blast!

This was so fun! First Mike the guy who was working in the shop that day was amazing. He was so kind and helpful, and when one of our battery’s died he came to the rescue. We saw turtles and whales, and really just enjoyed riding around. You ride down the highway in the beginning for awhile, that made me a little anxious at times but overall it was a wonderful experience. Using the bikes was easy, and we practiced in a parking lot before going on the road.

We loved this experience! The provided personal instruction on using the e-bikes was thorough and so helpful as we were novice e-bike users. We did not find riding along the highway to be a problem. The provided maps and directions were very specific and easy to follow. We highly recommend this excursion!

Everything went so smooth! Mike got us all set up and ready to go and the directions were pretty easy to follow. The tour itself is an awesome way to get to do a ton of things in one! We biked, hiked, and snorkeled all in one day, such a fun tour!!

Very dangerous, had to weave in and around traffic going up to fifty miles an hour. Had a hard time trying to find places to park and lock bikes. Pictures of trip were misleading made it look like you road on a bike path and there were no turtles to be seen.

This trip was amazing. I definitely recommend doing this if you have found this review. The bike ride is really nice and you get to see a lot of scenery. The guided tour is on the money and you can also use your phone for gps to help you get around. The guy at the shop was very nice and helpful. Overall was a great experience!

The bikes were ready to ride once you get used to the extra weight. The scenery was amazing. Riding along the highway and narrow roads was intimidating at first, but drivers are very kind and give plenty of room.

It was a great experience riding the electrical bikes to explore places with friends/families. We had trouble finding parking once we arrived to our destination because we weren't sure we can park anywhere which we can if allowed. The seats were not comfortable but overall it was a good experience.

This was a perfect daytime activity! We wanted to rent bikes, but didn’t want to wake up at 3 am to do it, and this was the best alternative. Saw amazing views, got exercise in, and had the best time. The bike seat was a little uncomfortable, but other than that, zero complaints. I felt 100% comfortable riding on the highway the whole time. The views from Dragon’s Teeth and the trail were amazing, and snorkeling was way cooler than both of us thought it would be. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Maui. It took up the perfect amount of time, and we were still able to get ready and go to a luau at night.

The e-bikes are cool, that’s about the only positive. When I bought this I thought it would be awesome adventures & snorkeling, it’s not!! It’s 95% of the time driving on the HIGHWAY!! Nobody told me this, it was so terrifying, nerve wracking & simply a terrible time!! All the hours are spent on the highway & you have nearly no time to enjoy anything! We drove to the first spot, ate at the restaurant & then had to go back to turn in the bikes. I DO NOT recommend this in any way!
