Saved the day after a delay!!

Flight came in late. Driver (forgot her name, sorry) waited and was there to pick me up. What a relief as it was dark by the time I came out of arrivals with my case. Found the location without any problems and pointed out the office where I could contact security.

The driver was very kind and drove through LaHaina in the scenic route to point out interesting things. However, he was driving a very nice Ruth’s Chris van, so I had not approached him until getting bad directions to go to 2 other places. A speedishuttle sign in the windshield would have helped.

I booked a shared shuttle for 2 people: my friend and me. At the last minute, my friend got a medical issue and could not go. I called to modify the reservation and get a partial refund. The company did it! When I arrived at the airport OGG, the shuttle driver called me and told me to go outside with my luggage and turn left. The silver van would be there. I did that, and enjoyed my solo transfer to my resort in Kihei. After I settled down in my unit, I called the company to book a shared transfer for my friend two days after me. The rep found another affiliated company and helped me book the transfer. Viator is wonderful, helpful, compassionate, and flexible.

The shuttle was late. The shuttle that did show up said they were not going to my location. After waiting 45 minutes, I decided to pay for a Lyft to get to the rental car site at the resort before closing. I attempted to reach a live person to see where the shuttle was and was not successful. Beware of using this service if you have somewhere elsewhere to be…also, they will not refund you. I requested a refund and was denied.

Our shuttle from the airport to our hotel was timely, uneventful and relaxing. Our driver was friendly and helpful.

Difficult to find pick up point and contact persons. No signage or greeting. After many inquiries I located the driver who made little effort to welcome us and ear the transition from landing to shuttle. Ordered lei greeting but driver did not seem aware of this and had to go back to terminal to find leis. It was not the aloha greeting I felt I paid for

I could show a picture of me waiting. And waiting for a shuttle van that never showed up. After hours of calling speedy shuttle finally found me a car. Never use Viator. Just go straight to speedy shuttle if you need transportation.
