If you stay in Wisma Leuser Sibayak or would like to come there on your own before the trek, please wait in the restaurant at the riverside. Your guide will be there before 9 am, probably wearing green trekking clothes and black rubber shoes, so you can easily recognize him.

Pickup details

One day before the trek, your jungle guide will meet you at your guesthouse to get to know you and give you a short introduction about the tour. The next morning you will meet your guide round about 15 minutes before you start the trek into the rainforest. If you stay at Wisma Leuser Sibayak or at a hotel nearby, the entrance to Gunung Leuser National Park is just a few minutes walk away. In case your accommodation is located outside of Bukit Lawang in the rural area, your guide will pick you up by motorbike or tuktuk, so you can start trekking in Bukit Lawang at 9 am. Tipp: We recommend you using mosquito repellent before we start our trek into the rainforest.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
