Wanna come back!

Great experience and makes me want to come back and do it again over a few days and sleep in the jungle. If you don't have much time though the day trekking is still great!

A must do tour whilst in Sumatra!

We could not recommend this tour enough- we were picked up from our accommodation by TukTuk to the edge of the jungle where we met our tour guide, Ian. We trekked for an hour before Ian made us a gorgeous fresh fruit platter to fuel us for the walk to come. The views were gorgeous from the hike and we were told about various animals/trees/ sounds that we encountered. We stopped for lunch and enjoyed a delicious Nasi Goreng that Ian had prepared that morning in the middle of the jungle. Then, we continued and were lucky to see a mother orangutan and her baby! We then made our way out of the jungle and returned to Bukit Lawang via raft which was brilliant. Overall, a very special day made better by our brilliant tour guide.

We had a lovely day in the jungle with the nicest and funniest guides, who told us many fun facts about the nature and the animals. The lunch was amazing homecooked Nasi Goreng. You experience a lot even though its only a one-day trek. Big recommendation!
