Highly recommend. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative. Loved the Melbourne street art. We stopped for a delicious coffee and later a beer (included). Great way to get to know the city in a short amount of time.

We had a great time. Beau was a great leader, and we got a much better understanding of the history of Melbourne and what makes it tick. We made some new friends on our tour who are from Melbourne, and they were very engaging, as well. We didn’t realize that we’d be ending at the pub—a coffee during our walk and a beer at the end were included, which was especially awesome. Beau did a great job with our group!

I came to Melbourne focused mainly on seeing the tennis matches. Our guide Sara was terrific but once again you creat havoc by not having an accurate meeting spot. The address was not correct. Just say ie on the steps of the courthouse or the park close by. Sara spent a lot of time on her phone trying to help people find the location. This has happened to us on other Viatour tours. Do a better job on meeting spots. The tour was terrific

This should be advertised as a Melbourne alleyway tour. There’s nothing more frustrating than walking by beautiful historic buildings as you hurry to go get a silly cup of coffee at noon. Parts of it looked like it was going to improve (the river area and Federation Square) before we were sadly disappointed. We spent most of our time walking around alleyways and hearing our guide, tell us that if we had time it would be wonderful to go see ……. Other than walking through a shopping area, we didn’t see much. We didn’t stay for the beer. The coffee took 30 minutes!

Sara provided an exceptional walking experience that was just packed with a variety of themes--history, personalities, art, dining, architecture, shopping. She was mindful of the strength of the UV rays 'down under' and kept us in the shade whenever practical. Then, we learned how short a time Sara had been 'in country' and guiding in Melbourne. We were just amazed at her knowledge and expertise.
