Great experience albeit cramped seating in back of bus

Seeing kangaroos & 12 Apostles. Coach was very cramped for 24 passengers. Couldn't see much from back seat in the corner. Guide was excellent.
Great Day on the Ocean Road!

I was a little hesitant to book a full long day trip as a solo traveler, but I’m so glad I did!! It was a great day well spent! Lots of information detailing this amazing stretch of road. Plenty of scenic overlooks, gorgeous beaches and occasional surfers or jet skiers to fascinate. The stop at the chocolatier is a great place to fuel up with your favorite chocolate sweet, coffee, or ice cream- a treat for your eyes and tastebuds. Next on to the Ocean road for a full day exploring the 3 different sections and small towns along the way. Lunch in friendly Apollo Bay - neat place and the scallop pie was delicious! Our tour guide and driver Maj was wonderful-friendly, easy to talk to , ask questions and truly present for the trip, not preoccupied with other things or her phone. She did a phenomenal job herding our group of at least 4 different nationalities and a variety of ages and ability from place to place, always keeping safety of us all top of mind but insuring we had fun and saw everything. A great day well spent- I highly recommend any tour with Maj and a day on the Ocean Road!

Hectic but covers a lot. The stop at the national park for the waterfall hike was unexpectedly amazing. Would've liked it more if could've covered Gibson's Steps too.

This was a very long, but awesome trip. Wes, our driver/guide, was fantastic. He imparted a lot of history and information along the way and made sure he did lots of rest stops. The scenery was out of this world!!

It was a nice tour but too big group together. Too much time to enter and leave the bus at the stops. It was said it will be a small group tour but we had 40 people in a big bus. The guide was also a driver. Would be better to have a driver and a guide separate people. Air conditioner didnt work properly. Stops were nice. We also saw a coala!

The tour was outstanding and full Of surprises! It exceeded my expectations and visually was stunning, but the thing that made the trip extra special for me was the tour guide ‘ Brit’. She was amazing, full of energy but paced everything just right, she was full of fun but also incredibly knowledgeable and her music playlist for the journey was fantastic! She made the trip extra special! Great day

Amazing trip! Very good if you’re looking to see the main sites, tour guide was funny & full of information! Would say there was more than 15 people on my bus so not exactly a small tour but it didn’t effect anything. Could of done with having a bit longer at each site but understandably it’s a long day out and you want to get back at a reasonable hour.

I brought a book, iPad, music and plenty of snacks expecting to be bored and stuck in a dark, cramped bus for 12 hours. This was absolutely not the case. Our guide was Wes and he made this tour a phenomenal, memorable experience from beginning to end! The big windows on the bus allowed for beautiful, scenic views and Wes’s commentary kept the group engaged and well informed of local happenings, insights and history. His music playlist filled the gaps between stories, I couldn’t have chosen a better mix of bangers that appealed to all and had everyone singing along! We made several stops for snacks, restrooms and remarkable sites; Wes guiding us to the best spots and offering to take pictures and answer questions. Completely unexpected was seeing wild koalas, Australian king parrots, Rosellas, Sulphur-crested cockatoos and we even got to see a mob of about 50 kangaroos jumping along in a field! #blessed Wes had a timetable to keep however he never made anyone to feel rushed or uncomfortable. At the end of the 13 hour day, exhausted from the EPIC experience, I didn’t want it to end!
A tour that is a must do for visitors.

It was as supposed to rain and thunder all day, but ended up being a lovely day. Seeing the Koalas, birds and beautiful rainforest and then being able to walk down into the Gorge, was just awesome. The visit to the chocolate factory was a welcome bonus. Madge was a phenomenal guide sharing the wonderful stories about the construction of the road and other history associated with it. We had an absolute blast.

Enjoyable way to see the iconic Great Ocean Road by not having to drive and the advantage of an experienced and fun guide(Peter) to look after us. Meeting people from other countries was a bonus. The weather was perfect so a great day out for us.

Beautiful scenery, nice pace, great guide and really enjoyable day. We had 7 stops in total and each one was worthy of our time. Our only regret was that we didn’t take the two or three day journey from Melbourne to Adelaide.

It was a very hot summer’s day on our trip. We felt that our transport was outdated with the air-conditioning barely coping and neither was the “promised” wifi working adequately.

Wonderful trip. Our guide Kurt was very experienced. He totally outlined our day so we knew what was coming up. The stops were all worthwhile and enjoyable. My husband is a tall man and found the seats rather confining.

Our bus driver was very good. Very informative and interesting. It's a tough ask to get this much driving done on a one day tour so I was pretty happy with it. Of course, being a bus tour, you spend alot of time on the bus. My only issue was with the seating. Unless you are lucky enough to have a set of chairs to yourself, prepare to be a little cosy with the person next to you. Not a whole lot of leg room. Not a small group tour! To me, a small group tour is 10 or so. This was not Other then that I was pretty chuffed. The Otaway Forrest stop was very good and the views a long the great ocean road where consistently amazing.

Fun Day Trip Made Simple

I enjoyed my day trip with Autopia Tours led by Tim. I was staying in Melbourne and wanted to get out to the countryside to see some of Australia's beautiful landscapes but didn't feel confident to drive myself. This tour checked all my boxes to see the ocean, rainforests, and wildlife while making it convenient to be picked up and dropped off near my CBD hotel. Our guide Tim made everyone feel welcomed and curated a full day of sights for our group. I will say that I definitely wish we had more time at each stop since each location is uniquely beautiful, but it was a longgg day so in order to squeeze in everything, it is necessary to stick to a schedule.

Unfortunately we wont forget this trip in a hurry. This small group tour was in a full 24 seater coach. Very cramped, no leg room and nowhere to put anybags so i sat with it on my lap the whole time. Our driver and guide ' Phil ' was very rude to a couple of passengers and also drove at a great speed. didnt feel very safe at all. A very uncomfortable day.We were prepared for a long day, but a total of 8 and 3/4 hours on the coach and only a total of 3 hours and 40 minutes visiting sites was not quite what we expected. A very disapointing trip. On the plus side, the places we visited we lovely and would love to go back and do it all again properly to see more.
