My visit to Melbourne started with the hidden bar tours. I was part of a 4 member group all from different parts. Good walks, tram rides, good chats, unique stories all made it fun. Our host Marc was easy going, full of stories, and very knowledgable about the bar and restaurant scene. He knew their USP, back stories. Overall fun.

Mark was an exceptional host, very knowledgeable and made me feel incredibly welcomed. I was nervous to do the tour as a solo traveler but I shouldn’t have been worried! He made everyone on the tour comfortable and at ease. We went to some absolutely incredible bars that I never would have found on my own and I had an amazing time.

Hugo’s personalised application of his extensive knowledge to our specific focus was fantastic! It resulted in a beautifully curated afternoon enjoying visits to four fabulous spots, with Storyville being our resounding favourite for the day. The only negative occurred after arriving at the atmospheric & funky Beneath Driver Lane last, & being welcomed with slices of a tasty toasted rye bread sandwich & pickles along with our cocktails. Feeling ready to settle in for a bigger feed while listening to live music, we were very disappointed to learn that the kitchen had then (definitely!) closed. But a thoroughly recommended tour!

This was a very fun tour! Hugo was an excellent guide and took us to these really cool hidden bars! My favorite was the Seamstress Bar in Chinatown. Hugo gave us a list of 10 other bars to visit after. I highly recommend this tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our guide Hugo was excellent, he was very engaging and friendly. We were a party of 6 people and were joined by another 3 couples who also made the tour fun. We loved all the bars we were taken to, each one was different from the other, and we would never have discovered them if we hadn’t gone on the tour.

We were met on time by Beau who explained what was planned for the tour. We traveled by foot and by free tram to 3 bars and a gin bar. Every single place was a nice “hidden” surprise and the drinks amazing! We would never have happened upon these places. Thank you Beau for a great afternoon/evening!
