    Mixed experience
    Holly_P, Mar 2023
Mixed experience of the Frida Kahlo museum & ticketing process. Our initial booking was changed to a different time (not sure why we were allowed to buy tickets for a time not available?). The museum itself was so crowded it was hard to enjoy. The house and grounds were lovely but there was limited artwork.
    Disaster!
    RAYMOND_C, Mar 2023
Disaster! Here is our story. We were sent an email with links to pdfs for our voucher and entry tickets. We could download the voucher pdf, but not our ticket pdf. I contacted the ticket broker, Mexictours, a week before our entry date. Mexictours sent me another email. Again, the link in their email for our ticket pdf gave me an error message “This site can’t be reached”. This exchange was repeated several times, always with the same outcome. On the morning of our entry day, I again contacted Viator customer service. Viator customer service agent assured me that our Viator link with our Booking reference number and my Confirmation number would gain us access to the Frida Kahlo Museum. When we arrived at Frida Kahlo Museum, the staff said that was not a valid entry ticket. Again, I contacted Viator customer service. They gave me a phone number for the ticket broker. That broker offered day tours that included the Frida Kahlo Museum, but they did not offer individual tickets such as ours. After 45 minutes standing in front of the Frida Kahlo Museum, unable to download the Viator link with our ticket pdf, we finally gave up. This was very frustrating because the Frida Kahlo Museum was one of our “must see” experiences in our Mexico City vacation. I submitted a refund request with Viator about 3 days ago, but have not yet received a reply.

    Don’t buy non refundable tickets
    Gautham_R, Mar 2023
The tickets are non refundable and we had to cut our trip short for a health emergency. I would not recommend buying these tickets.
    Great tour

A dream come true. The tour was everything that I had imagined it to be and then some more. The area too has a lot to offer

To see Frida Kahlo's original paintings in her beautiful and beloved home, the artwork and objects she surrounded herself with and the paints and brushes in her studio was very moving. The garden and courtyard were also wonderful.
    Impressive Art

I was allowed to go in even if I was late. There is so much to know about Frida Kalo and the experience of visiting her house/museum was superb. It was easier to have Viator take care of my ticket.
    A great experience.

All went smoothly. We really enjoyed the experience. The house was beautiful. The queue was well organized.
    Overpriced tickets purchase!
    Eva_G, Mar 2023
The ticket price is $13.50 US or $250 MXN if purchased through the museum website. Viator price $29.50 US. No additional services provided for the extra charge. The museum takes about 1 Hr to go through. Small but insightful into Fridha’s life. Get your ticket separately and enjoy the museum at a fair price.
    Must see in Mexico City.

Easy to get into museum with advanced tickets. You must reserve ahead otherwise you won’t get in. There’s always a line! Having the experience of witnessing the artist residence and seeing her actual studio is amazing. You’ll walk where Frida and Diego once did! Highly recommend this to everyone who visits Mexico City.
Great Museum! Not so great line staff.
    Beau_M, Feb 2023
The Frida Kahlo Museum/house was a very cool place to get a glimpse into Frida's life and experiences. My only complaint was that I purchased a ticket for 4:00 and, for some reason...after waiting in the 4:00 line...once I got to the front I was shuffled into the 4:15 line where I had to wait again. And I was told that I bought a 4:15 ticket when, in fact, I had a confirmation showing I purchased the 4:00 ticket.
    Life experience in display
    Ben_C, Feb 2023
The life story of the painter presented in the museum is most memorable. It reads like a history lesson. Eventhough I know a little about the art and her

I couldn't find where to order tickets on the Frida Kahlo museum, so I ordered them here. I wasn't sure if there would be a tour guide or not - turns out not the case. Getting the tickets (e.g. downloading them) was not a challenge. Just not sure why they were not emailed to me (they were sent as a text)

    A must do experience
    Roselea_N, Feb 2023
The exhibition showcased classic work by Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. The house, furniture and garden space felt authentic. Titles were in both Spanish and English.

A must do when coming to Mexico City. The museum is very well laid out and the information provided paints a very clear picture of how she lived and the interesting points of her life.
