Our trip to Xochimilco was so pleasant! Jaime picked us up on time and gave us so much information and history along the way! He and the team were very welcoming to the boat and also made it special for our 8 year old daughter. The snacks were so delicious and we made sure to buy one of the micheladas along the way. Jaime made sure to be back in time to drive over to Coyoacan to walk around the town and make our 2pm appt at Frida Kahlo’s blue house. Jaime was so gracious and thoughtful the entire trip! I would highly recommend this tour a million times over! Thank you Jaime!

Xochimilco was nice and...

Xochimilco was nice and relaxing. Our boat was called Martita. Was provided complimentary snacks (chicharon tacos, with home made guacamole prepared by the boat driver’s mom). Coyoacan tour was a lot shorter than expected since the tour company doesn’t take into account Mexican city traffic when listing out activities. Our guide was very knowledgeable but we had to cut the walking tour short since we needed to catch our tickets for the Frida Kahlo museum. Francisco was very nice and a great driver.

Overall this was a great experience. Our guide, Patricia, was excellent, entertaining and knowledgable. Everything went smooth like clockwork, but we only give it 4 stars because of the Frida Kahlo Museum. This is the fault of the Museum not the tour or the tour guide. We felt the Museum could have been a good experience, but the operators are running it like a sweatshop, and left us feeling like as the customers we are taking up too much of the museums time.

Eduardo picked us up at our hotel right on time and took us to Xochimilco, the Frida Kahlo museum, and lovely tour through Coyoacan. We loved eating the elote and chayote on the water and the lunch recommendation. Eduardo made it a special experience. We will do it again with children and friends next time!

It was amazing!!! We cant thank Miguel enough for being a great driver. The canal boat tour was absolutely wonderful. We were there in the morning and it was so tranquil and quiet!!! What can we say about Frida Kahlo, we had goosebumps going through her home.... We would really, really recommend this tour to anyone. Again Miguel muchas gracias!

Armando was a highly knowledgeable and fun tour guide for the day. We enjoyed all the history and background he provided about Xochimilco, Coyoacan, and la Casa Azul. All arrangements went smoothly — all we had to do was relax and soak it all in. We’d recommend this tour to anyone.

4 to 6 hour tour turned into 8 hours and no museum.

Our guide Patricia was great. But there was a part of the trip completely out of her hands that spoiled the experience. The tour description said we would see xochomilco, frida khalo museum and coyaocan neighborhood in 4 to 6 hours. So when we left our hotel at 9 am we expected to be back at 3 pm, at the latest. We were then informed that our tickets to the museum weren’t until 4:15 pm. As we understand it, the tickets were given to our guide by the tour company and not chosen by our guide. After a whole day out, we decided to skip the museum. We were exhausted by being out in the sun with 8 adults and 2 kids, that we could no longer continue our activities comfortably. We finally got home around 5:30. Long day! No Frida museum.
