Our tour fit our time restrictions well since we only had 2 hrs in the morning prior to leaving for the airport. Our guide Emmanuel was timely, knowledgeable and spoke very passionately about the history. His explanation of the timeline and details of the artifacts were very good.

It is a beautifully maintained museum / home which faithfully narrates Frida’s heroic journey. Not many of her paintings are there. Still it is a great experience to understand how she overcame her physical pain and became a globally renowned iconic artist.

The only way to experience a wonderful museum

Get the guide! We visited once without a guide and found the exhibits interesting, but we went back with a guide and he brought the museum to life for us with his stories Fascinating! (Also, only the most valuable items in the collections have signs in English, so you don’t always know what you are looking at without the guide. ) And you are allowed to enter an hour before the general public so you have the museum to yourself. Truly one of the best museum experiences we have ever had.

Museum Wonderful, Tour Terrible

The museum itself gets 5 stars. Don't miss it!! The uber left us off at the opposiste side of the park and we had to walk to get there. Because of a medical condition, we need to walk at a slow pace. So I called the tour company and said we'd need to join the tour late. When we got there a guide from a different company called our tour guide who was now in the museum. She refused to tell him where in the museum she was because we were late. So we walked though it ourselves. We spebt $44.00 for this tour and got NOTHING. i understand we were late and she couldn't wait, but don't understand why she wouldn't let us join the tour in progress. Very disappointing.
