It may seem a bit pricey but as first time visitors to Polanco it was worth it to taste the different foods, learn about the making and origins of the foods and to get a mini tour of the locale.

I highly recommend this tour, and request him as a guide if you can.

Biry was the BEST guide and we loved this tour! Of our 4 days in Mexico City, this was one of our favorite experiences. It was 7 stops (5 savory, 2 sweet), and 4 of the savory spots were legitimate restaurants with tables set, aguas frescas brought out, etc. We ate so much!

Viryanna was a wonderful guide! Her knowledge of Polanco , the local history of the sights along the walk, the background of the restaurants and tacquerias we visited and the owners, and her own background as chef all added to the actual tastings. And the ease with which every waiter and manager greeted her made the tour feel personal and special. We had been recommended the Polanco Tour by friends, and we will certainly recommend the tour and Viryanna to our many foodie friends!

Our tour guide Victor was very knowledgeable about this he cooking, Mexican history and the area. He was the best pet of the tour. The taco stands were the most authentic but the mole at El Bajio was the best thing we ate.

This is an amazing tour, both to see the elegant Polanco area and to try numerals Mexican specialties. Biri was an exceptional guide (and I have been on many food tours around the world do I don’t say that lightly). She went out of her way to accommodate us There were two other people on our tour who only spoke Spanish, and Biri did an excellent job of explaining everything in both languages, seamlessly. I would highly recommend this food tour to anyone looking for a top notch Mexican food tour!

Enjoyed our tour with Victor. His background as a chef provided great insight into the various food we tried. Being from the US, I’m used to Sonoran and Tex-Mex style food. I liked learning more about the differences in flavors. While not a fan of mole, I did try the black mole - which was way sweeter than any mole I’ve ever had. I recommend Victor because his culinary background added so much to the experience.

Met with Victor, our guide, at designated meeting spot which he confirmed approx 1 hour prior to tour by text. My husband and I were the only people on the tour and it started promptly. We visited 5 restaurants for savory eats and 2 for sweet samples at the end. Cannot say enough about what a wonderful tour guide he was, extremely personable and very knowledgable about the history of Mexico and the food we ate. The time flew by and gave us lots of places we could revisit. Definitely a "must " tour to do, if possible a great tour guide to request.

This was the best tour!!! We were the only ones on the tour, so it was basically a private tour. Polanco is so beautiful and the food samples were all incredible. Bidi was an amazing guide and explained the history and back story of the food so well. I would highly recommend this tour.
