    Super fun tour

    This was the best last minute decision I made on this trip. The whole group turned out to be really friendly. Most of us were solo. But then we stuck together. And our guide was really nice and friendly. I’d defiantly recommend this tour to anyone.

    Iván was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable about the history of both places and had the patience to repeat the information in both Spanish and English. I also loved that he brought along bottles of the traditional drinks that the people living in Teotihiacan would have consumed on a daily basis. I would readily recommend this tour package because it was worthed every peso and centavo. I would only add that the Tlatelolco portion is only panoramic. Tour participants are only shown the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, which are located in the Tlatelolco neighborhood, but they should not expect a tour of that neighborhood.

    It was so hot that it felt like there was no A/C in the tour van. Just be careful at the pyramids. The tour gives u time to explore the pyramids by yourself, if u r not careful you could head back to the wrong gate where the tour picks u up. Overall experience was good.

    First thing I get a message from our tour contact that they are running late (almost an hour late) because of street closures in Mexico city and are having difficulty getting to our hotel. Finally who we thought would be our tour guide arrived on foot and told us we had to walk to our transportation/van which was a couple of blocks away when we get there it was packed and they had no space except for a couple of seats in the front. Then we hear the supposed tour guide explain that we will be getting off this van and getting into another tour bus which I assumed incorrectly. We finally get to another meeting point and everyone gets off the van and we are just left there without any other directions. Finally we get off and ask one of the tour reps where should we go and they put us on another van where the tour got started they took us to the Basillica de Guadalupe which was nice tour and then to some shops etc. Finally we get to the Teotihuacan and are brought through the back entrance where our supposed tour guide draws a map on the dirt to let us know where we should meet him after we go see it for ourselves no guiding or explaining and gave us an 1 hour and 15 minutes to be exact and top of it all afterwards takes us to an overpriced restaurant to eat. All I can say this was a very disorganized and unprofessional tour total scam and waste of time. I would have saved money and time taking a taxi ourselves.

    The experience was really smooth and facilitated by a professional and attentive team. Our tour guide Carlos was excellent! He is an archeologist and anthropologist and the insight and knowledge and experience he shared with us was first class as he guided us smoothly through the experience.     The guide was very good. He didn't just follow a script, he was able to answer any of my questions. The first part of the tour, the visit to the place of 3 cultures was a bit pointless but the visit to the pyramids and the Basilica of Guadalupe were really good. Great value for money too.

    They took us to a wrong tour!

    We expected our trip to the pyramids and was excited and eager as it will be my 1st time to see them. Everything was smooth from the time they pick us up at our hotel. The guide called out my complete name based on the booking. I answered and we got into the Van and obviously assumed that it was our tour. Then, we started to see places that was not mentioned in the tour. We made a stop to Cathedral of Cuernavaca and thought maybe, it was an extra sidetrip of the tour, so we just go with the flow. But then, we went to another stop which is in Taxco for lunch. We went to see the silver shop/restaurant and we thought it was a stopover for lunch before going to the pyramids. We didn't ask any question that time because I assumed everything is part of the tour. We really had a delicious buffet lunch there. Then, we headed to the town proper of Taxco and they dropped us to see the cathedral and the town. Really, it was beautiful and amazing! The Cathedral was beautiful inside. I was so happy to see them and to experience the panormic view of the town, we suggest you go to the top of the church bell. There is a fee of 50pesos and you will have to climb 140 stairs to reach the top. It is worth it! Later on, we are wondering it is getting late like it's almost 2pm and we still didn't go to the pyramids. One of us asked if when are we going to the pyramids? The guide told us we won't because the tour we got in is a city tour -which is Taxco Day Tour. There are 3 of us who was shocked and surprised about this and we showed our booking reservation to the guide thats shows pyramids. The guide doesn't know because he just got a list of names from the tour agency. So we had to call the tour agency and yes, they admittedly made a mistake for putting our names to this city tour. It was frustrating and disappointing. All three of us who got into the wrong tour are devastated. But the tour agency were very apolotegic and they tried to arrange another tour with us for free. Unfortunately, we can't because I have a flight the next day and I started to have a bad feeling of myself and started to get sick. So I just go with the refund. Please guys, if you happen to book with this tour agency, kindly reconfirm what kind of tour your going to from the time of pick.up. It was our mistake that we didn't ask from the morning we get into the van since It was my first time in mexico city. Hope this helps!

    The tour ran on time. Our guide Ursula was informative and very nice. The stop at the workshop was very interesting, you hear all the ways the agave plant was used by the traditional people and try pulque ... the guide there 'Jesus' was very engaging. Next stop was the pyramids where you learn some infornation and then have free time. At the lunch you can choose buffet or off the menu. The last stop is the basilica in the city and Ursula showed us around 2 different churches there.
