I am grateful we discovered this tour and had Alejandro as our guide! Alejandro is welcoming, well-informed, and entertaining! The experience provided us with knowledge about the ancient peoples and temples of Teotihuacan. Additionally, commuting on local public transportation offered insight into the lives of modern-day people residing in Mexico City. Our tour was available in English, but Spanish is also an option. As I understand it, there are five entrances, and many guided tours concentrate on the most frequented/crowded area with the two main pyramids. Alejandro took us by ATV to the farthest entrance, where we could visit the less congested Temple of Quetzalcoatl. From there, we walked down the avenue of the dead, eventually reaching the pyramids of the sun and then the moon, stopping at other points along the way. Here are some things to keep in mind: you will utilize public transportation (buses and metro). Alejandro timed our transportation flawlessly and handled the buying of all our tickets. He was vigilant and always ensured everyone was accounted for. I don't know if the ATV ride is always part of the experience or a special treat, but a taxi was an option for anyone not wanting to ride the ATV. You will also walk a fair bit. It is hot, so bring water, wear comfortable, cool athletic clothing, and bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen. And don't forget to bring snacks! Overall, I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience Teotihuacan in a unique and informative way. If we had opted to go on this adventure without a guide, we would have missed important history and information. Thank you, Alejandro! - Chris & Mel
wonderful guides and great tour!
Peter_E, Aug 2023
Look no further! Our guide Alejandro was great - he shared lots of interesting history about the pyramids, as well as about Mexico City and Mexico more broadly, and he kept us laughing. He and Ady (who led the spanish speaking group) both took great care of us the whole time, from strategic stops in the shady spots (which are few and far between) to navigating public transit to helping an older member of our group up and down the pyramids. I highly recommend this tour!
Great experience!
Daniel_P, July 2023
Great way to experience Mexico City’s public transport system with a trusted guide. Warryor was well-spoken, informative and very eager to answer any questions we had. Thank you!
Great way to spend half a day
Jake_O, July 2023
Warryor was a great guide. He kept us all engaged and taught us so much about the history of Teotihuacán. I especially enjoyed it being just a half day tour. So I could have time later on to do things.
11/10 Best way to discover public transit and Teotihuacan
Veronica_A, July 2023
This tour was so amazing!!! The tour guides were amazing. Our English speaking guide, Javier, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with our questions. An added bonus was a great introduction to the public transportation system, which can seem intimidating at first but is actually pretty easy to navigate after a few practices.
Warryor takes you on a quest.
Luis_B, July 2023
If you want to experience knowing Mexico besides the curated part that most tours offer, warryor is your guy. This was not our first trip to Teotihuacan and we learned some new facts as well as had a lot of fun.
Breathtaking, informative
Analisa_C, July 2023
The tour was very informative. The Pyramids and surrounding area was fascinating. Javier was great tour guide. Love the various modes of transportation.
A Very Interesting Tour
Dianna_N, July 2023
We had a wonderful tour of the Teotihuacan Pyramids. Visit the Museo Nacional de Antropologia before you go so you can better understand the history of the area. Bring extra sunscreen and plenty of water. It was only 77 degrees the day we went, but the sun was strong and we all got sunburns. There are a lot of steep stairs up the pyramids and the entire walk is about 2 miles. The bus will be waiting for you when you make it to the main pyramid (temple). We were relieved we didn't have to walk back 2 miles to the bus. There are restrooms, water and food vendors at the end of the 2 miles. We were thirsty! This is a great tour and I highly recommend it. I don't think it would be good for children under the age of 12 unless they are really into this sort of thing.
Knowledgeable, private, funny
Jimmy_H, July 2023

Both guides were amazing,...

Both guides were amazing, and I liked the variety of the trip, travelling by bus, quad, and metro too! A great experience with nice people!
Great Experience! Thank you Warrior!
Bao_Q, June 2023
We had a great tour with Ulyses Guerrero and Estacion Mexico! Ulyses was very knowledgeable and passionate. The tour was just about the right length (3h at Teotihuacán, 3h travel). The use of public transportation was a nice touch. Pro tip: wear a hat and bring sunscreen and water! See you next time Ulyses!
Fun and insightful!

Theodore_S, Mar 2023
The tour guide was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and helpful. The site itself was beautiful and awe inspiring.
A great experience and feeling safe all the time.
Blanca_C, Feb 2023
Alejandro , the tour guide waited for us in from of El Palacio de Bellas Artes under a pink umbrella. He is a great guy. He speaks English very well ,has a lot of knowledge of the area and explains the history since the beginning so it's easy to understand the challenges and changes the people that lived there went through. I definitely recommend this small group tour if you have the time.
