Excellent Tour and Day Trip

Lucca was an amazing tour guide. He made unscheduled stops including one to enable us to tour a winery and have a glass of wine. Another stop allowed us to be able to hike up a nearby road to a beautiful tall waterfall. He recommended a great restaurant for lunch in Tirana and ate with the group. He was very friendly with the group as shown by how he would move throughout the bus sitting with the various couples to meet and find out more about them. His tour of Varena was awesome as was all of the scenery!

A wonderful Day Trip to Switzerland

Sylvia was a wonderful and energetic guide. We had a delightful day from our walk through Veranna, a stop in Mortegno to visit the wine and cheese cellars, and then train ride into Switzerland through the Alps into St Moritz. We had a delightful walk through St Moritz with a visit to The House of Laderach Chocolates. I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Sylvia and our wonderful driver.

Great Day except for the Start

Overall we really enjoyed the day. Both our guides were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We selected this tour as it was different from other companies offering the Bernina Scenic Rail experience from Milan. We had to meet at 8.00 am at Milan Central Rail station. But our guide was 10-15 minutes late. Our train was departing at 8.30. There were quite a number of participants that had not been able to download the rail tickets, ourselves included - nor did we know we had to! Due to the late arrival of guide it caused some chaos and anxiety as this situation meant some participants had to get on the train without tickets. If the guide had arrived on time this could have been sorted out.

Luca is a fantastic guide who shared many interesting facts along the bus route and train ride. Lake Como is beautiful and the views of the mountains from the train were spectacular. Antonella was a fantastic tour guide. This was an amazing trip with incredible scenery. She made sure to make this trip special and detailed. My only regret was that I wish this tour never ended. Antonella took great care of us. We had a train car to ourselves and we were able to run from side to side to not miss anything. 10 stars!

The views are amazing everywhere you look! The tour was great. There was an issue with the train stopping earlier than planned. We did the rest of the tour by bus and was able to stop in locations the train would not normally go. There is a good balance of walking, bus and train time during the entire trip. If you are looking to sit back and watch all the beautiful scenery, this is the tour for you.

Dear Madam/Sir As you can read on the "What to expect" section there is a description at number 4: "Ospizio Bernina Getting off the Bernina train for a quick stop on the highest point of the ride! IN THE WINTER we get off at Diavolezza stop!" The reason we get off there it is because the best of the ride, very spectacular with amazing view, is between Tirano that is 400 meters above the sea level and the top at over 2.000 meters. After that the train descends only for 400 meters to reach S. Moritz on the same car road route but taking longer. Driving by bus 20 minutes (instead of double by train) we have the same view and save some time to stay longer in S. Moritz. In Varenna, on Lake Como, instead we normally have about 30 minutes however it depends on the train from Milan that sometimes has delay and so, in order to follow our schedule, in some cases we need to do it a bit quicker. Having the Bernina train departure time already set, a quick stop along the way to break the long ride and wanting to give our clients at least 1 hour for lunch time we do not have too much flexibility to change the program of the day. Beautiful views and friendly guide

Alice was great and the group was small and intimate. Unfortunately, on the day we went the train had an issue and we could only ride it part of the way. The train also was making a very loud and ear wrenching sound the whole time. Luckily, the tour was completed in our own personal van. Beautiful views!

This is one on the best trips around Lake Como and the Italian- Swiss Alps by bus and train. We loved every moment of it. Alice was a great guide. The bus ride down fro St. Moritz was the highlight of the tour.

Amazingly fun tour with the best guide EVER!!!! Antonella you were amazing! This trip was one of the best tours I have ever taken and I have taken a LOT of tours. The guide knew all the great history and shared it in a wonderful fun way. The scenery was over the top beautiful and we even got snow at the top of the mountain in May which made it all the more special.

Manuela was a fantastic guide. She was very informative and also very inclusive. She invited the group to have lunch with her and took us to an interesting cheese and wine store before the train. We had an overcast, rainy day and she still made it fun. We even had snow. Highly recommend.
