Excellent Tour

Our tour guide Simone was very knowledgeable. He led the tour with his enthusiasm and knowlege and it was obvious that the tour was enjoyed by all attendees. We were fortunate enough to not only see and learn about the artifaxes in the Scala Museum but Simone saw the opportunity for us to get a great view of the interior of performance area.

No Guide Needed Tour

Our guide was a very kind person, but the tour itself did not meet expectations. The audio quality of the headset guides was very poor, a bit due to our guide holding the mic with her hands rather than pinning it to her lapel, but also due to interference from so many other audio guides in such a tight space. We eventually gave up and pulled up Wikipedia on our phones and made our own tour. Would not recommend, especially for the cost.

The tour was exceptional. Our guide was very knowledgable and provided loads of great detail about La Scala and the opera scene in MIlan. My wife especially enjoyed seeing the fine craftsmanship that went into the costumes that were on display.

For Italian Opera or a theater buffs in general this is for you! From the detailed stores of the beginning of Oprah, and the the changes to it during and after political power struggles, these stories told by our amazing and entertaining guide were an experience that you cannot get simply by walking through the theater by yourself. We even got to peer into a seating box and there happened to be a rehearsal going on. It would gave us the chills. This tour is a must do when in Milan!

The only guests, who arrived late joined the group directly inside the Museum, so the tour didn't start late. We apologize on behalf of the guests, as human beings, who need about the rest room. A Magnificent Theatre

Our tour of the beautiful La Scala Theatre and Museum was a day to remember. Not only is the theatre magnificent but our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about its history and the talent that has performed there over the years and how they have been received by the discerning audiences. He explained how it has expanded over the years and why it was rebuilt so quickly after WWII. We were able to watch a little bit of a choreographic rehearsal from the booths high above at the back of the theatre which was a treat. It was interesting to learn where the royalty sat and what they call the top tier of seats. The gentleman who enlightened us of its history, its items in the museum and the paintings and busts as well as the instruments so beautiful and fragile. If you have a chance to see this magnificent theatre, don't hesitate.

Our guide Lara was absolutely fantastic. She had a lot of knowledge about La Scala and it's most famous conductors and composers, and told us lots of fun facts we never would've known without her. It's a classic venue even for non opera lovers. The history is amazing. The building is gorgeous and the costumes are incredible. The group leader was exceptionally knowledgeable and obviously loves opera and this opera venue. She added a lot to the experience.

Firstly, our guided tour duration was 1 hour and 30 minutes as planned, but you left the guided tour after 1 hour without informing the guide. Why are you complaining about the duration if you left the tour before the end? Nobody never complaining about our guide's accent neither the meeting point, which is pretty clear: in front of the entrance of the Museum (there is only one La Scala Theatre Museum and only one entrance!). Furthermore, we've never received any call from you fi you have had difficulty to find the meeting point. You had our emergency contact. Why did you not call us? Next time we suggest you to make the correct statement while you'll write the next review. I am bias, I LOVE the Opera! So I had to make this stop, as it is one of the oldest in the world. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, we enjoyed our tour and the museum. It was great to hear the history of it all!
