We had an amazing experience with Chef Ilaria and I would highly recommend this tour to ANYONE visiting Milan. We have done many cooking classes around the world and this was undoubtedly the best one we have tried. We made foccacia, raviloi, and tiramisu all from scratch. She even provided the recipes as well as local restaurant recommendations. I highly encourage you to give this class a try, even if you are unsure.

I came to this class with my mom who doesn't really speak English, but the way Ilaria explained and give energy throughout the class is amazing! You need to book this class, don't think twice!! Reason why: - professional kitchen - super clear explanation not only how to make the food but the origin story too! - you can learn Italian language in between too! - learn the trick to cook healthier and the cooking technique - of course the food result was amazing - my mom and I had a blast

I really can't express how much fun my mother and I had during this cooking class. This is not just a "learn how to make pasta" class. Chef Ilaria is a true professional, she taught us knife skills, cooking techniques, the why behind certain choices in her recipes, and ultimately how to make delicious food and have fun while doing it. The atmosphere is completely relaxed and is perfect for a couple or family. Genuinely the highlight of our trip in Milan.

My wife and I really enjoyed this class. We learned about Italian cooking methods and the Italian words for each ingredient we used. The kitchen space was cozy and Chef Ilaria was wonderful instructor. We made 3 courses and had complimentary wine.

Event cancelled at last minute, no text to draw attention

Booked more than a week in advance. Was our highlight of long weekend in Milan. A day before our 18:00 Friday evening cooking class, booking was confirmed and tickets sent. Spent all day looking forward to the cooking class. Arrive at the venue as the chef is leaving for a private class and says she has no booking. Then showed us a cancellation notice of our class saying she doesnt know why Viator cancelled the class. Was overly apologetic, not knowing why it was cancelled. Too late to secure a resevation for dinner and no opportunity for the nexr day. Upon returning to the hotel I see an email from Viator time/date stamped Friday 10:50 (7 hours prior to the class) stating the chef had cancelled our course. The refund is irrelevant. If we had cancelled that close to the event we would have lost our payment. It had the potential to be a great experience. Instead it was a huge disappointment. Notification of the late cancellation via text message would have at least saved the the hour of travel time each way. Enjoying the city that afternoon, didnt have the expectation of needing to check email after event confirmation.

Dear Laura, I am extremely sorry for what happened. As I told you in person when we met, the experience was not available to me because I was booked for a private event that day. I'm really sorry you haven't been notified but I really have done everything there was to do. Unfortunately Viator's assistance never helps professionals, we always have to send dozens of emails to get a single answer. I can assure you that they had plenty of time to warn you. The experience was canceled because that date was not available and I don't know why they made you book. In any case, if one of my guests cancels even 2 hours before, I ALWAYS agree to the refund, so it's not true that guests lose their money: it NEVER happens with me. I hope with all my heart that you can come back one day! Take care. chef Ilaria
