What To Expect

After meeting your guide, get a brief safety instructional and then hop on your bike and start sightseeing in Milan. Stop for photos along the way and learn about the history of each place you visit. Choose between a morning, afternoon or evening tour.

Morning or Afternoon Tour (3.5 hours):

Start by cycling through the downtown streets of Milan, pedaling around the city's glamorous parts of town. Cruise by verdant gardens in Palestro and drink in the chic vibe of the Manzoni district with its luxurious buildings and headquarters of the world's leading fashion houses. Stop for a breather at Piazza della Scala to take in the famed opera house, Teatro La Scala, and learn about the great singers and conductors who have performed there.

Then pedal on to Brera, its streets flanked by historic houses and churches, and marvel at the imposing Sforza Castle, a fortress from the late medieval and Renaissance era. Learn about the history of the structure and how it was built for the first duke of Milan in the 14th-century.

Other stops include the trendy Ticinese district and Colonne di San Lorenzo, the oldest Roman ruins in Milan. Before finishing the tour, stop at the famed Duomo, Milan's glorious Gothic cathedral, and learn about the building's history.

Evening Tour (3 hours):

Take the evening tour and be prepared to be dazzled by the twinkling lights and lit-up landmarks of Milan. Marvel at the Duomo and the intimidating Sforza Castle. See all the spots that are on the morning and afternoon tours, such as Palazzo Regione Lombardia, Piazza Gae Aulenti, Brera and Piazza della Scala.

After that, hit some of the city's must-see sites, including the Duomo, the city's marvelous cathedral.

Mialn is very busy, so sometimes this bike ride can be a little harried. Overall, it is very fun. WE had a really bice tour guide. I had already been in Milan for three weeks and done many tours, but I still saw more, doifferent neighborhoods, etc. I recommend. Not physically challenging, but a nice litle bit of exercise.

Fun and fascinating tour of some historical and architectural highlights in Milan. 3.5hrs went by in a flash. Would have loved a full day tour to see more neighborhoods. Really liked our guide. Half a day (biking) in Milan

This is a great activity and an excellent way to have an idea about Milan. If you take he morning tour then you can walk (15 minutes) to the Duomo and maybe shopping in Buenos Aires section. We got lucky as Milan literally stops during mid August and there is little to no traffic. Robert did an excellent job in his calmed style and by sharing the right amount of information. My wife and I had a great time and we highly recommend the tour

A great way to see Milan

The bike tour covered a number of areas of the city and took in the major sites. This is a great way to get a feel for the city so you can go back and explore particular sites, like the Duomo and La Scala, which I did later in the day. Our guide was enthusiastic about the history of Milan and very knowledgeable.

Milan has many interesting sites to visit and it is relatively easy and safe to navigate by bike. So, I would consider this an ideal way to learn and exercise.
