What To Expect

See the chief sights and landmarks of Milan on this info-packed guided walking tour. With your guide by your side the entire time, you'll be within earshot of the city's fascinating history. Start off at the gorgeous Duomo, a huge and ornate gothic structure and one of the most beautiful churches in the world.

Then stroll over to nearby Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, maybe one of the most aesthetically pleasing shopping malls on the planet. Its impressive 19th-century glass ceiling is worth a look in and of itself. After walking through the Galleria, stop in front of La Scala, the city's main opera house and one of the most renowned in Europe. Built in the late 18th century, La Scala has seen a who's who of famed composers and musicians in the last 200 years.

Head over to the trendy and cool Brera district, crammed with funky boutiques, trendy bars and hip restaurants. Home to the city's Bohemian set, the neighborhood's streets are picturesque and make for a pleasant stroll. Eventually, you'll find yourself at imposing Sforza Castle, where you can take some time to admire the late-medeival fortress.

The last stop and the highlight of the day is your skip-the-line admission to Leonardo de Vinci's The Last Supper. After you breeze past the line, head inside the former food hall of the convent. You get 15 minutes in front of the masterpiece, so use it wisely. Make sure you step back and see the painting in a larger context: that the monks who ate there felt like they were dining with Jesus and his disciples.

After your 15 minutes are over, head outside where the tour concludes.

Please note: The above itinerary is applicable to options departed from Piazza Duomo only. If you select a departure time from Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie , the tour will start at The Last Supper and finish with the walking tour around Piazza del Duomo. Visits inside the Duomo are not possible on Sundays or religious holidays. On these days, a detailed tour will be given from outside of the Duomo

    Interesting itinerary
    Julie_J, May 2023
The tour covered a lot of ground with excellent information provided, particularly about the Duomo. However, it took up a disproportionate amount of time. It was disappointing that there was not more time to explore Brera. While the guide was very knowledgeable, she did not engage with the group or tune into their needs, just forging ahead with her commentary. The final part after viewing The Last Supper was too drawn out.
    Excellent tour guide

The tour guide was excellent. Kateryna knows a lot about history and led a dynamic tour where we could learn a lot. We visit all the main attractions in downtown Milan.
    Great experience but long walk
    Matthew_C, May 2023
This is a walking tour of Milan’s Duomo, to the opera house and Sforza Castle and finally to the Last Supper. Our guide, Deborah, was amazing. She was knowledgeable and held all of our attention with her stories of the history we were seeing. Loved it.
    Michielu_M, May 2023
Katrina was an excellent guide, she successfully fused together humor and information at an appropriate level for everyone in the group. She is very knowledgeable and communicated clearly.
    Good walking tour
    Lisa_G, May 2023
Good walking tour. Liked the headsets so that you can hear your guide at all times. Covers a fair distance so wear comfortable shoes. We had been told being a Sunday we would not have access inside the Duomo, but it was fine on the day and worth a visit.
    Katerina’s the best!

This was a great way to see Milan. The skip the line tickets included were a great idea, as we saw people being turned away from The Last Supper, and they were being told it was sold out for two months. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and spoke excellent English. I really recommend this tour.

Angela was an amazing tour guide. We loved the Duomo and Last Supper. She knew so much and was so kind.
    Poor tour
    Kate_M, May 2023
A disorganised tour, at the meeting point no one seemed to know what was happening. The tour was late starting. The tour was very rushed with little time given at each site. The tour guides English was very hard to understand through radio receivers and she rushed from site to site not very interested if not everyone kept up.

Excellent tour - very informative with a knowledgeable, experienced tour guide. Three hours is a good amount for this tour
    The Perfect Tour
    Dennis_P, May 2023
The tour was excellent. Our tour guide, Katerina was very knowledgeable, well informed and a good English speaker. It was just the right length of time. We were never really rushed and the skip the line moved us along nicely. Walking around was at a good pace but it might have overwhelmed some. The group was small and the headsets made it very conveniently
    Don’t Miss this Tour

Of course the Last Supper but what was so great was our marvelous tour guide Debbie who brought everything we saw to life. Even when we were between attractions walking she pointed out the wonders of Milan. She is a wealth of knowledge
    Great tour
    LeahSteinberg_S, May 2023
Our guide Marina was fantastic - lively, knowledgeable, eager to teach. She even dramatised the history of Italy using several of us. Lots of fun and memorable.
A Perfect Day and Tour in Milan.

Our guide was exceptional. His pace, level of knowledge and information shared with tour participants was perfect. I believe his name was Fabrioza (sp??) (or similar). Ask for him if you are going on this tour.

Fantastic 'once in a lifetime' bucket list activity!! The whole program was great, from the Duomo Tour and history lesson (Great for context). To finally spending time at the monastery in a small group and seeing one of the most iconic paintings in the world. our Tour Guide, Marika, was the absolute best - and really made the significance of Milano come to life!! Will let all of our Italy-Loving friends know about the trip.
    Catrina makes the experience priceless
    Scott_K, May 2023
Catrina provided an outstanding tour of the Duomo, Last Supper, and so much more in Milan. I learned so much more than I thought I would thanks to her experience and engaging personality.
    A lot of walk
    Eloisa_M, May 2023
The guide had a lot of experience and described the church and Last Supper very well. The visit to the castle was very short and we only visited the main entrance. At the end of the visit we did not return to the starting point ( the instructions were not clear on this) and we got really lost. Also we were required to show proof of identity to get into the Last Supper, and that was not specified in the instructions. Several persons of the group had to go back to the hotel, or call the hotel to have a picture of their ID send to their phone. I am glad we purchased the guide, but did not feel I got my money's worth.
    Great Day in Milan
    Frank_S, May 2023
Meaka did a great job of bringing our small group together and introducing us to Italy, Milan, and the museums. It was a very enjoyable day and a very informative day. We will definitely use your service for additional tours while we are enjoying our month in Europe. Frank & Carol Sims

Lara was an excellent tour guide. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her. She was passionate about the history and shared many pictures of the past on her iPad with us.
    Truly Fascinating Tour
    Helen_G, May 2023
Katerina was so knowledgeable and informative about Milan’s history, the spectacular Duomo and other historic buildings, we learnt so much. The same applied for Da Vinci’s Last Super, this was truly fascinating. We highly recommend this tour.
