Train excursion that was mostly on a bus.

Really enjoyed the train ride through the Alps. I thought it was a train from Milan. Instead it is a bus tour from Milan to St. Moritz, then board the 2 hour train ride from St. Moritz to Triano Italy. Then back on the bus back to Milan. So out of a 12-13 hour excursion only 2 hours were on a train. Unfortunately all the stores in St. Moritz were closed the day we did the trip.

This was a beautiful tour. Elma was a kind an amazing tour guide. For starters, we were late and they waited for us. More info for other tourists experiencing issue: Viator chat support on what’s app wasn’t responding as quickly as I needed them to, so I looked on my ticket and saw the local tour company name. I looked up their number and it is because of this phone call, I was able to make this tour. This tour was amazing and I was speechless as I marveled in the beauty of this area

What an awesome experience. The tour guide was great at balancing information times with relaxation. The views are great! I only wish we had more time in St Moritz before getting on the train. Also good to note that if you go outside of regular tourist season most of the shops are closed.

Train ride was great. Would have liked more time in St Moritz. Only had 45 minutes to explore, just a quick walk through. Bus ride took up most of our time on the trip but I understand due to the distance from Milan. Might have been better to catch train in an earlier stop. Guide was friendly and bus driver knew how to drive the narrow roads well.

It was wonderful. Our guide Mara was a total sweetheart. She was genuinely so nice. The train ride was amazing. The bus ride was pretty cool too. I think the trip was pretty well planned.

Trip was very well organised with English speaking guide and lovely views on the coach and train . The downside was that when we returned to tarino to get our coach it had been stopped by the police and we had to wait for another coach to pick us up which added around 1.5 hours to our return and we were waiting with little information.

This tour had the most amazing views and photo opportunities. The guide was knowledgeable and informative. This is a tour that should not be missed. My only issue was 99% of the shops in St Moritz where closed in May and were not open again until June 5-6.

Enjoyed informative tour guide and smooth bus ride to St. Moritz and had two hours to get lunch and look at shops. The Bernina express train was the highlight as it went further up into the alps before it started its way down. Provided great views of the alps and towns below. Highly recommended.

This trip was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Our trip was cancelled at the last minute with full refund due to “ rail maintenance and weather condition” But the reason was not true, this trip was very important for me bcuz our family was celebrating our daughter grad from college and her 23 Bday, so I did not give up and immediately did my research booking the same tour AGAIN and with the same company, and you know what, it was confirmed. So apparently they have not enough peoples to cover an additional trip and cancel it lying to the customer. Thanks God that I was aware of this type of bad behavior. I felt a little skeptical due to previous cancellation but our tour operator, NATCHMET ( no sure if this is the correct name spelling ), she allowed everything to become a wonderful experience, literally she saved the agency for the worse review and made our day unforgettable. KUDOS TO HER!! We arrived at the meeting point and were greeted by the tour guide who guide us to the bus and explained the day event details, she provided us with entry points throughout the trip. From train rides, to stops, the mountain at the top was the highlight however weather could have been better for better visibility, but I love the cloudy days and I enjoyed the view sooo much it was one of the best tour’s experiences. Would 100% reccomend this trip with Viator ( OJO BE ALERT AND IF TOUR IS CANCELLED DON’T GIVE UP )as it completely made our Switzerland trip!

Wonderful trip! Even thiugh the weather was really cloudy, it did not rain and we did get some sunshine. The bus journey to St Moritz was through some of the most beautiful meadows of Switzerland. St Moritz is splendid and the walk by the lake was the highlight. The main part of town can be avoided till it opens fully in late June. The train takes you through breathtaking views of snowcapped mountains and glaciers. Would recommend 10/10. Claudia was the best guide ever, very informative.

The Alps were breathtaking!! Our guide Oleg was great very knowledgeable and spoke good English!! Funny too! Trouble with train tracks so missed some travel but made up for it with a comfortable bus ride!!😎😎

Appreciate the promptness of the bus to be on time at the specified venue. Appreciate Ms. Claudia the guide who very beautifully explained all of us in English about the various specialties of Milano and St. Moritz. Liked St. Moritz a lot. It was a nice experience altogether. The driver Mr. Caudio also was professional. Just that I wanted to spend a little time in snow. I wish Viator can make a small provision for snow lovers.

We had a wonderful guide and driver. Claudia gave us the history along with some wonderful back stories. She made the Alps come to life. Enjoyed St. Moritz very much. On our way to St. Moritz we traveled by Lake Cuomo and several other lakes and she gave us quite a bit of history as well.
