Our Pick up service takes place in the center of Milan (if option selected) The bus takes approximately one hour to Pick up all of the passengers, subject to traffic conditions and the number of passengers booked for that particular tour. For this reason, pick up times are shown as an interval “Starting from 6:00” means that we will pick up you at your hotel at 6:00 or after in order to be in time for the beginning of the tour.

What To Expect

Spend a day in 'La Serenissima,' the city of bridges and canals, on this action-packed guided day trip to Venice from Milan. After meeting with your host in the center of Milan, hop in a comfortable coach for the 2.5-hour ride. During the journey, learn about the history of Venice or just gaze out the window at the Northern Italian countryside.

Arrive in Venice and get ready for an informative guided 2-hour walking tour. Amble over bridges and along canals. Stand in front of Renaissance palaces and learn their history. Take in the aromas of delicious Venetian fare wafting out of restaurants. Stroll along Riva degli Schiavoni, one of the city's main promenades, and then pass by the legendary Bridge of Sighs connected to the Doge's Palace. Let your guide regale you with tales of the doges of centuries past, as you perambulate into St. Mark's Square.

Stop for some photos in the pigeon-filled square. Stand in front of St. Mark's Basilica, noting its intricate facade. And don't forget to gaze up at the bell tower, a symbol of Venice. Then make your way through the narrow streets again, going over the famed Rialto Bridge, continuing along the Grand Canal to admire the grand mansions that flank the canal.

Visit some lesser-known hidden gems in Venice too! Explore the calli, a maze-like warren of narrow lanes and canals and learn about what life is like here for locals.

Take a break for lunch (at own expense) and then visit a glass-making workshop near St. Marks Square to witness skilled glassmakers plying their trade. After browsing in the gift shop and considering taking a souvenir back to Milan with you, head out on the narrow streets again, making your way for the optional 30-minute gondola ride (at your own expense) through the canals of the city. If you opt for the gondola, hop on the flat-bottomed boat, sit back and enjoy the only-in-Venice ambience.

When the time comes, return to your coach and begin the journey back to Milan.

The trip was totally worth any money spent! The pick up from Milan is early, but you get to sleep on the bus for about 3 hours if you wish to. There’s a pit stop half way through for breakfast and bathroom. Just enough time to recharge, and get ready for the rest of the day. The tour guide was very informative, and provided us with lots and lots of interesting facts about the area we were passing on a way to Venice, as well as the actual city of Venice. Once in Venice, we had to get a different tour guide, as only those accredited to work in Venice can be tour guides there. She was very nice too, lead the trip in a right paste, provided awesome information about the history of the city, and the current life there. There was about 2 hours free time that my husband and I spent exploring the biggest bridge, as well as the Cathedral. Make sure to pay the extra euro, and go on top of the Cathedral to see the square from atop!! Totally worth the extra 5 euros or so! Be advised, that the gondola ride organized by the tour guide is a shared ride. My husband and I were super disappointed by that, since we though we were going to be alone on the boat enjoying the most romantic city in the world with just each other, not some six more strangers from the group. Either way, we are easy go lucky kinda people, and that by any means did not spoil our overall experience in the city. The glassblowing presentation is kinda neat, but their prices are out of this world, so save yourself some precious time, and just dart through the gift shop, and out to the city to enjoy it!!! All in all, an amazing experience, and we would highly recommend it to friends and family!

Venice is a beautiful place to visit. They apparently don’t have tourist who are BLACK visit their country because the stares and pointing at we experienced was like wth is going in here..Apart from the blatant RACISM , the food was very delicious and on point.

The trip was ok except I was cheated by the tour guide. He asked all on the bus to buy Gondola rides from him. I was one of the three who followed his instructions but still got to the “right place” in time. No refund, but I asked for a ticket/receipt/a proof that he paid it. The tour guide refused to provide any proof. I suspect he just pocketed the money. It was so bad

This tour was good. Venice is beautiful and the gondola ride for $25 was a bargain. I think maybe they could skip the glass blowing demonstration to allow for a more leisurely experience. And something definitely needs to be done to improve time for bathroom breaks.

It was a great trip! IT was in October - trip took 3.5 hours on the way there and 4.5hrs on the way back (traffic). The bus' restroom is not available - so plan accordingly and know you won't be able to use the restroom for long stretches of time. We got around 3.5 hours to explore the city on our own and had a quick 1hr tour of the city center and a glass factory - the demonstration is nice, the selling pitch is entertaining - the prices are super expensive. Overall a good experience.

Davide, our tour guide, and Ricardo, the bus driver were great! Davide provided some historical information on the bus drive over about the cities we passed along the way. He provided suggestions of places to visit and made the tour an enjoyable experience. He was helpful in giving people directions after we got back. My sister and I enjoyed the tour immensely. It was our first time in Milan and going to Venice, it was amazing! It is a long tour and we only had a few hours at Venice but worth it to take in the beautiful city, it’s architecture, the food and people, and the history! We caught a glimpse and will definitely come back to explore more of what it offers. Ricardo, the bus driver, was great at navigating while dealing with traffic along the way. He was friendly and made the tour easier in dealing with the long hours on the bus. Thank you, Davide & Ricardo!

Interesting tour, difficult weather, excellent guide!

We left on time from the meeting point. We had an excellent guide (Eddie) and driver (Angelo). Our guide spoke fluent English, was very supportive and friendly, and gave us very interesting information about the history and architecture of Venice, and the present situation. He was very helpful everything we asked for. He suggested a quite good restaurant for lunch. Both Agelo and Eddie took care and changed the route on our way back to Milano, when they heard that an accident had taken place, so that it wouldn't take us too long to go back. Personally, I was very satisfied by the tour. My only problem was that the heat and humidity were unbearable and I suffered a lot. Maybe we should have began even earlier in the morning.

Amazing Venice

It was a wonderful trip, we had a lot of fun and we learn a lot. Venice is a place to enjoy for more days but if you don’t have the time I really recommend you do this quick trip other wise enjoy Venice for more days is an amazing place to be . Also this trip include a visit for murano glass is nice but I preferred if I had the chance again to ski it and just enjoy the city and get in the gondolas

Venice was beautiful, well worth the drive. Guide was irritated and lacked good people skills. Some members of tour were late, he reprimanded them and then carried on the whole day about the same issue. This spoiled some of the ambience of the tour.
